Wow, they are so gracious and loving to my son. They call it a "no-shush" service (particular ones for special needs) but my son is welcome at all of the services. The music is traditional - not what I am used to but very high quality. The pastor is from Texas and very biblical in his sermons. There is another female pastor who delivers a pithy sermon as well. This week it was about Jesus going "viral" as in you tube. Had to be there but it made sense and was good. The congregation is friendly. They have Wednesday night meals and a stripped down service which is my favorite. The mission statement/slogan is "We are everybody's church" which means it is inclusive - not just specials needs, lifestyles, etc.

I regularly attended the 10:00 am Sunday Mass, where he main homilist is Monsignor Zenz. Father Zenz has some of the best homilies, and I've been to many a Catholic church in my life! The music is great, and they have a dedication to serving the community....I could go on and on. Lucky for me, Holy Name's website -- http://hnchurch.catholicweb.com -- keeps audio records of the masses and homilies, so I can continue to experience the Masses at Holy Name even though I live on the West Coast now.

The building and its grounds are beautiful. We worked with the man who was then the pastor, Rev. Wuggazer, and the organist to make decisions and changes here and there about the details of our wedding ceremony. I especially treasure the Bible that Pastor Wuggazer gave to us, which was passed around at the reception, and contains inscriptions from all our wedding attendees. What a wonderful keepsake. The pastor did a great job. My hubby and I are still happily married after all these years.
