My husband said he found his new favorite Indian restaurant nearby our house. Solid curry, naan & chili chicken. Naan is thin, crispy and flaky. Perfect combo with lamb curry. Not a fan of the biryani. I like my biryani with lots of spice and flavor. This one feels flat. Almost like eating plain white biryani rice. The Hakka noodle is passable. Biryani house had been a favorite go-to restaurant for us once in a while. We liked the quality of their food and so when we had a party at our home recently, we ordered our food from there. Big mistake!! It was a huge disappointment! The quality of the food was very bad! It taste was horrible, had no flavor, it tasted like cheap buffet food and not the a la carte food ftom a good restaurant. The money we paid for the food was not at all worth it. The rice in the mutton biryani was not cooked well, the mutton pieces were tough and rubbery, not tender and juicy, the raita was very watery and for a tray of mutton biryani and two family packs of chicken biryani, we got two slices of onion and two wedges of lemons. Ridiculous!! The paneer dish was very greasy and the chicken tikka masala didn't taste anything like the chicken tikka masala. Every item that we ordered was a disaster except for pepper fry chicken. That tasted a bit decent. Overall, a very bad experience with Biryani House. I am never going any bulk food with them again in my life. With this experience, I have no interest to go to their restaurant either. If you want to order food for your parties or celebrations, this is not the place to go. read more

I was too hungry to snap a photo, but this was our second visit to Biryani House--and it definitely won't be our last. On our first trip, my father and I tried the chicken biryani and mild goat curry. The biriyani had great flavor, though the chicken was just a bit on the dry side. The real standout was the mild goat curry--it was rich, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. This time around, we went for the tandoori chicken (medium spice) and the spicy goat curry. Let's just say we thought we could handle the heat--turns out, we were wrong! It was very spicy, but still packed with flavor and came with a flavorful, well-balanced gravy. The tandoori chicken was also excellent: juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The staff was incredibly friendly and even remembered us from our previous visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be coming back. One tip: pay close attention to the spice levels on the menu, and don't hesitate to ask the staff for recommendations based on your heat tolerance! read more

I have visited Biryani House half a dozen times at least. I very much enjoyed my early experiences. I have wanted the place to do well, and even gave them a positive review to begin. It pains me to say that the quality of the experience has steadily declined. The mood of the place was once positive and welcoming. Friendly staff would greet you and were ready to educate new arrivals about cuisine and culture. The last couple of times I've been there, some dark-countenanced floor walker has glowered at us from the shadows with a distinctly hostile attitude. Three times I've had that or another staffer virtually turn their back on our party and point in the direction of a table we can sit at - couldn't have been less interested in our custom. Aside from the decline in service quality, the food has been worse and worse. The most recent visit, I ordered one of the menu staples and it arrived nearly unrecognizable in flavor and completely botched in terms of preparation. But the worst of all, and the reason I am writing this now, is something that troubled me and will not leave my mind. We thought at the time that obviously it was an accident, a fluke or a freak occurrence, something we shouldn't mention in a review, etc. Maybe all of that is true. Maybe you'll agree that it isn't evidence of a problem. But still, it should be mentioned that my friend found a strip of metal in his food. The hard way. Which is to say, it was in his mouth when he found it. Could have been swallowed unnoticed... It was of the type that scouring pads are made from. A thin curly metal bit, that was in the serving bowl. Could have been an accident, sure. But that kind of accident derives from faulty processes. When my friend showed the metal sliver to the management, they took a few bucks off the bill. Comp? No. Offer to clear and remake the dishes? No. Just a discount and I suppose a hope we didn't consume more metal as we finished our meals... I will not be able to eat at Biryani House again, sorry to say. read more

It's hard for me to give a 5 star review. However this place the food is so well spiced (not hot), just the right taste that hits the spot. I felt I had been transported back to a restaurant back in India. Not your run of the mill Indian food. Been there 4 times in the past few months. I tried their selection of Mughlai dishes. I've introduced couple other friends to this place and they have loved the food too. In particular, I love their Kashmiri chicken, and my hubby their cheese garlic naan. The meat in the goat biryani was very well cooked. I would stay away from the chicken biryani. Ambiance is great. They play soft music that gives it a relaxing vibe. Went for a Birthday party of "7" and made reservations. At first we were apprehensive because some menu items were not gonna be available, they were catering, BUT again we had a reservation and a REMINDER, so, we kinda of kept insisting and the the servers were polite and helpful and did all they could to make suggestions. This Biryani place opened 3 mths ago and today was our first time there after a recommendation from a friend. Ganesh our server was polite, helpful and humble. He helped us pick a few veggie options for my wife. We ordered a starter for Veggie Manchurian, entree we got Paneer Lababdar & Special Chicken Pan Biryani. All medium spice. The food was tasty and good. Probably the best Indian I have had in a long time!! Will definitely come back here again. If you are looking for some good Indian food that's flavorful and good service then this is the place to go. Everyone on the staff today were carrying & helpful and constantly checking on us, which I feel personally is rare in an Indian restaurant. Oh my god! I very rarely give five stars to a restaurant and even rarely for an Indian one. Being an Indian that recently came to the US, I've so far felt like not many restaurants can meet my standards or palate. We were a party of three (all vegetarians) and went here quite hungry. I'd eaten their Veg biryani (catered) at a event before when they started off and was quite impressed, so went down to sit and eat some more of their dishes at the restaurant. The restaurant had a good ambiance, not too crowdy feeling table nor too posh. It felt just right so we could concentrate on the food rather than anything else. A person greeted us as soon as we went in and were easily seated without any wait (probably cas it's still fairly new and we went in a bit late). We ordered the Paneer Tikka as an appetiser, the Afghani paneer at the recommendation of the employee and the Veg biryani (asked for it to be spicy since we usually find the high(est) spice levels at other Indian restaurants to be medium spicy for our palate). I'll start off saying everything tasted ammmmazing! The spice (masala) levels were on point. We usually don't get great paneer tikkas here and I always find something missing when I eat them. The Afghani paneer, ordered spicy (I don't usually prefer green looking curries) was very surprisingly spiced great and delicious. The paneer was fresh and 'not tough' like stale paneer. The biryani was delicious too again but crazy spicy and with the amount of masala that was put in. I agree that it was our fault asking for it to be spicy although the restaurant warned us that their spice levels were higher than other restaurants . They don't just put chilli powder when you ask for anything to be spicy - they spice it right so you taste everything blended well when you eat something here. The hands down best Indian food we've had in Georgia. I first fell in love with Malai Kofta in NYC. We've been looking everywhere in GA for a good version of it -- Biryani House exceeds the original flavor we loved! My wife ordered the Veg Hot and Sour Soup. It was delicious. The Gobi Manchurian, Malai Kofta and Bhagara Bhaingan were all exceptional. Even the Garlic Naan bread knocked our socks off. Good new place for my Goat curry and Biryani's . Food is very close to Indian spiced up flavors not chili spice but actual flavors off spices. Goat curry was well done and chicken curry was not too bad either. Appetizers sweet chili chicken was awesome. Lack of one star is lack of wait staff and service, people are good but you should have more than one person doing orders on weekends at least.
