My husband was diagnosed with cancer while we were there almost 5 years ago. As an ethnically mixed couple, Roger and his wife always treated us equitably and helped us any time we needed him to. We grew to love his parents (also now passed). Roger and his wife had a long term plan which finally came to fruition and they got to move on. I didn't have anything to do with the present owners as I recall. Those who didn't like us, never approached us; mostly because they were warned not to bring their BS to me. However, we did notice that the last time we were there, the property and the type of people were deteriorating. More of the people moving in were angry, drunkards, prejudiced, and basically, unfriendly and combative. There were still a fraction of folks then who were compassionate and kind and charitable. Those folks helped us get moved out so my husband could leave for treatment. They are all gone now but a very, very small fraction. I have heard nothing but negative things about the park since we left and others began to leave. It's sad if it is being run into the ground. The potential for that property is stellar with the right vision and planning. I wish them better and I wish them well. I am a proponent for businesses who want to become the example for what other businesses can be. I will miss the great times we had there but hey, change is inevitable. I personally, in all good conscious, would not (now) refer anyone to stay there if they are civil, open-hearted, friendly, non political and kind folks looking for a short-term oasis. Regardless, good luck to the new owners.

This RV park has previously been listed on Yelp, and was erroneously reported CLOSED last week. The…read moreRV park has steadily hosted long term guests to overnighters for the past 15 years. I moved here in October 2016, and as of June 2018, I'm still here. Something I love about this location: the opportunities for outdoor photography are abundant! Facilities are kept clean and well, rates are affordable. The park remains ever popular as a winter haven, so spots can be difficult to come by between November to March. This location and surrounding area has a lot to offer for those interested in Southwestern and mining history, geocaching, wildlife watching, hobbyist photography, star and sky gazing, painting, and possibly prospecting. In the event that someone erroneously reports the location CLOSED again, just know that accurate information for Twin Buttes Mobile Home and RV Court can always be found by searching other social media sites, including their own website.
