Restroom is a little small, in the room it has small closet as well to hang your clothes and luggage tray as well as Wi-Fi. They got stairs to go up and down the floor also they got elevators as well. Service here was very good and they let us checked in early and was very nice, attentive as well. Upgrading is the bed absolutely, not sure about other rooms, but the one we stayed definitely needs it.

What a miserable experience and it soured my whole trip, so much so that I left after one uncomfortable night and went home. It's a non smoking hotel, but the front desk staff sits outside the front door and smokes. When we came back to the hotel after dinner they offered an upgraded room for us to move to. The hostility we felt at check in, the apathy ...the lack of welcoming we experienced was unlike anywhere else I've ever been. Not ONCE were we made to feel welcome. So we left and were told we would not receive a refund for the 2nd night that we did not use- Stay away from this place!

We called to make a reservation- if stairs are challenging choose the first floor (more accessible but louder). We were seated on the 3rd floor and it was perfect. Much more quiet and had a musician playing the guitar! Our Server was Laurel and she explained the daily specials and answered questions about the menu. We ordered the sampler which came with artichokes wrapped in bacon, dates and red peppers stuffed with cream cheese. I could have eaten like five more samplers because they were that good. For dinner, I order the Penne pasta with spicy sausage. My husband ordered the lamb meatballs, which came with couscous and chickpeas in a very mild curry sauce, which was perfect even for me. I don't need lamb and I'm not big on curry and I thought his dish was delicious. We had the creme brule for dessert and that was great as well. For drinks I ordered a Matador Rose (tequila, rose, tamarind and grapefruitz) and hubby had the Excalibur (Bourbon, blackberry, bitters). Both were SO good and fairly strong without messing with the flavors.

As the evening went on, we learned that this is a family-run restaurant, which only added to the charm and warmth of the experience. I ordered the mussels, one of my favorite dishes, while my girlfriend had the artichoke and mushroom lasagna. For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and a caramel nut tart with mascarpone. Both of us have traveled extensively, eaten at many excellent restaurants around the world, and this was genuinely one of the better meals we've had. The restaurant is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, the food was exceptional, and the service matched it perfectly. As a business owner myself, and as an artist who deeply appreciates craftsmanship and people doing things well, I can't express enough how much I enjoyed the experience.

I noticed this place off the Main Street and was curious. This place has been open since last October and yesterday was the first time I knew the place existed. It doesn't open until 4pm and I'm usually back home by then. It has a nice ambiance. Motorcycles adorn the walls. At least two TVs are high up on the walls. The dark wood adds earthiness. There are electric outlets under the bar to charge your phone. I had my dog Hansel with me and the open-air design attracted me to this place. I sat at a picnic table facing the street. Hansel enjoyed looking down on dogs walking by, thanks to the elevated platform we were on. Service was prompt. I noticed that the menu wasn't very extensive and the prices were on the high side. I settled for the two Brisket Tacos for $18.99. I had water to drink. The tacos were very good. The beef was well spiced and there was no skimping on any of the ingredients. The baked beans were sweet, the cole slaw a mere 1-ounce serving. It was a tasty meal. They serve $5 margaritas during Happy Hour 4-5pm weekdays.

The exterior looks like a mix of three attractions: a restaurant, a museum, & a movie theater. I can't say if all three of those things are really in there, it's just an impression. I will say that I am glad I took at chance at trying their food at a time when I was seriously hungry. I was invited to sit wherever I wanted, so I chose a table along the wall with a big TV right above me. I was greeted kindly, and given time to order my food, which I decided would be a couple fried eggs, hashbrowns, sausage patties, toast, & cheesy grits. They were so good, with the hashbrowns being, as my partner put it, "The best he's ever had!" I personally enjoyed the patties the most, and the grits the least. The grits were made in a way that the shredded cheese was sprinkled on top of the grits instead of mixed in it, and I do not prefer that style. It was still good, just not as good as others I've tried. So that's why I'm not docking points; why be super critical on one side dish when everything else was an A+? I liked the wholesome feel of the restaurant, like everybody knew each other, and the fact that it was pet-friendly was a bonus too. My birthday surprise involved staying at the El Dorado Suites Hotel, and I couldn't have been…read morehappier! When you stay here, you feel like you're at home. It's a very cozy, wholesome location that you can spend the day lounging in- once you're done exploring the town, of course. I stayed in a one-bedroom suite on the ground floor; it had a decently sized kitchen & living room, along with a front balcony that allowed me to sit on the porch by the main entrance. The kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies, a microwave, fridge (w/ a Brita filter) & a coffee machine. The living room included a small, electric fireplace that worked well in keeping the area toasty in January. There was also a sink that was placed outside the bathroom, so someone can wash their hands while another person does more private matters separately. The bedroom had a King-sized mattress, and a door that led to a backyard where you can sit while looking at a painting of 'Virgin de Guadalupe.' When you enter the hotel, you're more than likely to not encounter any staff, since they leave everything you need for your stay in a slot on a large counter. You can't miss this spot; it is to the right when you first walk in- passed the staircase. If you do need help for any reason though, the office is right next to the counter labeled, "STAFF ONLY." This was a new way of doing customer service for me, which I really liked, and I hope to find other hotels that can manage this system. The location is beautiful and gives a sense that you're not in a bustling city like Los Angeles, but a more relaxed vibe that some people may long to have back, before the days where taking selfies became the norm. It's almost like the townspeople know each other as good friends, as you hear their laughter from the hotel, and the guitar music they play at local bars. Bisbee is known as a town revived by hippies, so that's a big part of its charm. You can watch a comedy show, visit the historical museum, go on a ghost tour, or explore the mountains at the Queen Mine Tour- all within walking distance! I couldn't find much wrong about the hotel or Bisbee in general, except for one major thing...those darn streets! Specifically, I'm talking about the street you have to drive up to park by the hotel. If you plan to drive here, then get ready for some narrow pathways. I was always worried being in the car and another vehicle would be driving the opposite direction. Don't be fooled by those "two-way street" signs, those paths are NOT capable of having two cars on one road. When I left the hotel, I ran to the bottom of the street to make sure nobody would driving up to block our car. The difficulty driving to the hotel can be a hinderance, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have serious issues walking up & down hills or anxiety over fighting over a slim street. Otherwise, if you're looking for a break from this busy world of ours, then going to Bisbee and staying at the El Dorado Suites Hotel will ease your nerves and let you enjoy the simple things in life.
