Marlene was a doll to work with and highly available for any questions or concerns. We have not heard one bad thing about the reception and we don't expect that we will! The hall comfortably seats about 168 (21 tables of 8); we had 195 in attendance at our reception (some tables of 10). Regardless, we did not have any complaints about guests feeling "squished" at tables or not having room to move between tables. The staff was able to configure the hall so that each and every person was comfortable and enoying themselves. There were two bartenders that staffed the bar and they did a great job with making sure the bar line was never more than two deep! (With the plated dinner or family style options, the bar does close for an hour during dinner so that the bartenders can help with serving dinner. ) We did family style for our dinner and our guests just raved about the amount of food and the quality of it. My uncle told me he never even picked up a knife to cut his roast beef or chicken - it was so tender he could use his fork for everything! My younger brother (football player) was also estatic that he could order another plate of roasted potatoes just for him! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this location for receptions or showers, as it a beautiful location and priced much more reasonably than their local competitors (we really did our research as we paid for the wedding ourselves). Par 5 #15 used to be almost impossible to hit the green in two has no deterant for being aggressive. #18 is literally a joke big tree on the corner of the dog leg right made even the big hitters think twice. I've seen tee shots end up by the cart path 90 yards from the green being hit by average golfers who carried it 225 yards and caught the downs lope with a 80 yard roll. To make the best use of that 20000 square ft putting green you have to challenge the golfers and try to make the tee shot a precision decision, not a full out blast aiming at the mens grill because nothing is along the right side to cause any problems anymore. Can we literally just bulldoze # 6 for God's sake, after 3 weeks of no rain, that might be the only hole in the country that is still under water. That is not exactly Golf Digest top 100 material. The most important detail for a skater, the ice sheet, is amazing! Despite being a hockey rink, the ice isn't too brittle, the surface is well maintained and very smooth. The facility itself is a reasonably comfortable temperature, and there is plenty of space to warm up in the lobby. Highly recommend--it's my favorite in the area.

We absolutely love coming to this fair every year. They have so many different fun and exciting…read morethings to do all week long. Parking is $5. Children 9 and under are free. Children 10-12 are $5 and adults are $10. There are so many different animal enclosures. We saw cows, pigs, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, roosters, rabbits, and more. You can register for the auction of the livestock. They also have shows for different animals. We saw a bunch of horses with ribbons. We also went to a barn that had art items listed. The lady we spoke with said they have a toddlers and tots where kids can enter in may or june and get cute ribbons for their work. They also charge for adults to list but offer tickets with a listing. I thought this was pretty cool. There are tons of different merchants selling items and home goods. Tons of carnival rides and food stands as well. This place is massive with so much to see and do. Its definitely worth it.

This week they had Uncle Cracker performing on Monday, monster trucks on Tuesday, demolition Derby on Wednesday, figure 8 on Thursday, and I went to the rodeo on Friday. On Saturday they have tractor and truck pull and then on Sunday again they have a tractor and truck pull. Ticket prices are $10 for adults starting at age 13 and over and $5 for kids aged 10 to 12 years. Military and special needs get in the fair for free and seniors age 62 and over cost $9. Now those ticket prices include access to everything at the fairgrounds all the grandstand events, but you pay extra for the carnival rides, and they have different daily rates and arm bands that you can buy for the kids or adults if you still like to ride
