Little Caesars Arena is such a great place to see a concert! The venue is beautiful, modern, and has an amazing atmosphere the second you walk in. Everything feels organized, the arena has great views, and the sound during the show was incredible. I also love how much there is to see and do around the place before the concert starts. Detroit really has a venue to be proud of. We had an amazing night seeing Eric Clapton here, and the entire experience made the night feel even more special. Definitely a venue I'll keep coming back to for concerts and events. read more

We went to the RUSH concert on August 26th. It was a phenomenal show! Loved the sound in the arena, and the ushers in our section were very accommodating and helpful. What we did not care for was the way they handled entry, started way late and there were many issues with people who did not want to follow the rules. Also, when we tried to order food at the 313 grill, we found the employees to be a bit rude, slow and not willing to explain a few of the menu items. We felt ignored and then rushed to place an order. Many people in line echoed our sentiments. read more

Little Caesars Arena in Detroit was a really great experience. The arena itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean. As soon as you walk in you can feel the energy from the crowd, especially during a game or concert. The big screens, lighting, and overall setup make it easy to see what's going on no matter where you're sitting. It's definitely one of the nicest venues I've been to in Detroit. The food options were also pretty good for an arena. There were plenty of choices around the concourse--from pizza and burgers to other snacks and drinks--so you're not limited to just one stand. Of course, the prices are what you'd expect at a stadium, but the convenience and variety made it worth it. Everything we tried was fresh and hit the spot during the event. The staff and organization were also solid. The employees were friendly and helpful when we had questions, and the arena seemed very well managed. Even with a lot of people there, things moved smoothly and the place stayed clean. Overall it was a fun experience, and I'd definitely come back for another game or concert. We've enjoyed many events at LCA, from sports to concerts. There are so many different ways to set up the arena; there isn't a bad seat in the house. The pricing depends on who the headliner is or who our team is playing. There's plenty of parking around the venue. Inside, there are a lot of different types of food and drink options, like pizza, Middle Eastern, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, chicken tenders, pretzels, cotton candy, and popcorn. There are merchandise stations throughout too. It's new, clean, and beautiful place! It's worth a visit! read more

The food and drinks here are ridiculously expensive, but I had a great time at the Detroit Pistons vs Dallas Mavericks basketball game while I was in Detroit for several weeks for work. I always make a point to catch a live sporting event in most of the cities I travel to for long work trips, and I enjoyed this one. Pro parking tip. About 100 feet from the door to the arena there is a little dead end street called Park Ave where you can park for free if you arrive early before the road blocks go up!! See my photo. Park early and then walk over to Harry's Detroit Bar & Grill for a cheap beer and burger (or other great food) before the game!!! You won't regret it. OK, I'm sure a lot of this is reflective of the amazing tickets we had but my husband and I recently took in a Pistons game for the first time at LCA and it was AWESOME. We had some friends (whose family used to run the team!) and they were kind enough to share their VIP tickets with us so we got to enjoy the game courtside, right by the Pistons' bench! We also had access to the Player's Club for food and beverages. In the lounge we enjoyed a variety of bites like snacks/starters like nachos, popcorn, wings, a cheese and charcuterie spread, and pizza (of course) followed by more entree-like offerings like smashburgers, hot dogs and coneys, sushi, etc. It wasn't the best meal I'd ever had but I definitely filled up my plate! They also offer a dessert buffet with brownies, cookies, cake pops, tarts, and an ice cream cart. We're teetotalers these days so we stuck to the sodas but they did also have a pretty nice looking open bar! There was also plenty of seating and on one side of the lounge is a glass wall where you can watch the players come and go to the locker room. Our seats were folding chairs (since they're makeshift seats that don't exist when the Wings are playing) but it was SO cool and pretty comfortable all things considered. And seeing a game was just so exciting and dynamic. Again, it could just be a product of being a "VIP" for the night but everyone who helped us out, from ushers to folks in the Players Club, were SO nice and friendly. I was grinning the whole night. The people are so nice to help you find your seat is just so nice no matter where you sit to enjoy the performances in the last month I went to three concerts and they were excellent even the sound was great. So I went here for a concert with a group of friends. It was a winter time and really cold outside so waiting on the bottleneck of the entrance line is pretty frustrating. Especially when you get to the entrance and realize it's backed up because of the ineptitude of the people running that specific entrance. They were doing it in the most inefficient way I could think of. On top of that some of them were rude. Everything was great once we were inside, well everything except the mixed drinks (skip those stick with the can). It is a nice arena with clear signage, helpful employees, clean restrooms and a decent food selection. read more

Great location to see a hockey game a concert or any other event. This arena is really nice. The seating is great. The interior is nice and clean with lots of gift shops and places to eat and drink to choose from centrally located in the downtown area with lots of restaurants and hotels nearby. Staff was so super nice and helpful. You need to find a seat or any kind of amenity that that Rena has the staff is always willing to help the gift shop with all Red Wings gear. Caught the Red Wings vs Blue Jackets game here and WOW, what a game! Wings took it in OT, super entertaining from start to finish. I've been to Joe Louis Arena multiple times for concerts and always loved the history and grit of that building, but it was definitely showing its age. Little Caesars Arena feels like the perfect upgrade. Sure, you miss some of that old-school charm, but they did a great job bringing over historic statues and displays so you still get that nostalgic Red Wings energy the second you walk in. The arena itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and the ceiling design with all the lighting and production elements is awesome. Such a cool place to watch a hockey game. The fanbase is passionate as ever, the atmosphere is electric, and there's just so much to see here if you're even remotely a Wings fan or a hockey fan in general. Total win. Traveling from Baltimore to Detroit for the first time to watch my beloved 2025 National Champions OKC Thunder play the Pistons, I wasn't sure what to expect from Little Caesars Arena which also hosts the Redwings hockey team. What a great venue! It is easy to get to via rideshare, is extremely walkable inside, is spacious with clean restrooms, has tons of snack/meal/beer options, has amazing views of the court no matter where you are seated, and is comfortable and clean. I also found everyone working in this arena to be very friendly, welcoming, and positive - even while I was adorned in Thunder gear from head to toe. Instead of "Thunder sucks!," I heard, "Hey, welcome to Detroit. Are you enjoying the city?" Amazing people here. read more

For concerts and Red Wings games, this is an amazing state-of-the-art venue! Buying any food or drinks though, and parking for the arena is pretty mediocre. I hate having to be like this because I love going to Red Wings games (been to close to 40 here) and multiple shows and concerts here, but the parking & food/drink service here is abysmal. Depending on the event, parking close by is ridiculously high in price. Typically we'll park much further away and walk because of this. The food/drink options here are pretty vast but the specialty places (UWM Market, Mixing Board, Mike's Pizza Bar, and the concessions) are pretty disappointing. DO NOT get a hot dog here. The buns are so dry and the hot dogs are way over cooked. Beers are sometimes flat but they're still serving. And the specialty food is simply not worth the money. Have some beers in the garage prior and eat elsewhere. Atmosphere in here is incredible though. The people in charge of the jumbotron and lightning get an A+! During the Red Wings games, the games are so interactive and make you really want to sit in your seat the whole time (which, if you read above, there's not much to get up for anyways). But if you do have to get up to use the bathroom, this is a huge improvement from Joe Louis Arena. Way more bathrooms available and they are very clean. This was a HUGE complaint at the old place. Love coming here and will continue coming here, but the offerings in the arena seem to be declining since the first Red Wings season. Spending $90 per ticket for upper bowl to then buy an overcooked hotdog, stale popcorn and a flat beer? No thanks. I'll just eat and drink before I go in. read more

I was that person who was so bummed about tearing down the Joe, but also knew we needed a revival. LCA, without a doubt, has become a huge staple of the D! I love the design, layout, and it's so much more fun to come here for concerts, and Wings and Pistons games now! I have to say LCA feels like its own little city, with restaurants spread around the first floor and bars all over the second one. My favorite note is the poutine in the food hall! The amenities are super clean, but I fear the further up you go, the worse the sound gets and the carrier it is to look down. LCA feels like a really vertical drop rather than a more stair step up. First time visiting (for Disney on Ice) w my nieces and SIL. Was pleasantly surprised with how clean LCA was, and how accessible bathrooms were to our seats. Our event wasn't sold out/full house, so food/restaurants on upper level were closed, and we had to go downstairs--my only complaint, as it took us a lot longer to get drinks, etc., but I understand the logistics of paying staff to work a non-full event. We were seated on the 1st row of the mezzanine and could barely hear the headliner articulately (which was not their fault, as we have been to many of their other shows in different venues). Finally getting our turn to see the new arena. Being too young to remember the games at Olympia, most all of our Red Wings experience was at the Joe Louis Arena. I love the concept that I can walk into one of several eateries and after dinner, exit straight into the arena. The arena is gorgeous inside. The stores are fun to walk through, but very expensive to shop at. I guess that's to be expected. It's very big and complicated; you can ask one of many ushers and they'll get you to the correct elevator and to your seat. Absolutely hate the seat set-up. As many will tell you, the seats are way too small and the upper deck is way too steep. Felt cramped the whole time. Naturally, the Wings were crushed by the Winnipeg Jets. I appreciate how many spots there are for food and drinks, although overpriced like every sports event, it is pretty yummy. They have lots of options including the little market style area with seating which feels upscale. The team store is always filled with new items which is appreciated for frequent visitors. Saw the Rush concert last night. The show was fantastic, but the seats were, without a doubt, the worst, most painful, seats I have ever sat in. Even worse than airplane seating!!! My seat was so close to the seat in front of me (guessing no more than 22 inches from back of my seat to back of seat in front and maybe 5-6 inches between front of my seat and back of chair in front of me) that my knees touched the top of that seat. Worse was the complete lack of space for my feet. The seat in front was straight down, and had little to no curve on the sides like many theater seats. The was NOWHERE for my feet to go, combine this with the cup holder mounted 3 inches off the ground on the right of the seat in front and the lack of foot space became intolerable. The lack of space from the back of my chair to top of chair in front, and lack of foot space forced my knees to be bent at about a 40-50 degree angle all night (3 hour show). It was phyiscally impossible to get a full 90 degree angle on my knees. Maybe this is fine for a young person with no knee issues or someone with short legs but within mins my knees hurt so much I could not remain seated for the full show. I am only about 6'1" and have fairly normal length legs and minor knee issues and there was simply no way to move my legs as the room between the front of my seat and back of seat in front of me was maybe 5 inches. The seats are also skinny but just on the edge of OK, but that also didn't allow for any actual "wiggle" room! Getting comfortable was impossible. There was nowhere for them to go period. Luckily the show had an intermission so we could stand up and move. I was forced, to the disappointment of the people behind me, to stand at least a few times during the show just to alleviate the growing pain in both knees and hips. Could LCA have just not added that last row of seats and gave that space to every row?? ABSOLUTLY!! But where is the money in that. Will I come back to LCA, ever? Probably. Will I sit in that area Section M18 or anywhere on that level HELL NO!! No show or game will ever be worth that torture! If you are even slightly tall, and have the remotest knee issue or leg issue BEWARE!!! Sad that such a nice arena (It is very beautiful inside) chose profit over customer comfort in such a blatant and painful manner! read more

Ok venue for watching a concert. My husband and I attended the Nine Inch Nails concert. They have a weird rule about you can't have a cap for your drink, even if you purchase it there. Easy to get into and out of the venue. Great sound system. I would see another concert here. read more

Went there for a concert. It was fast going in to the venue. Parking was okay. If park on the other side of the freeway the price drops in half. We had fountain drinks and beer they were good. The pretzel was stale but the popcorn was freshly popped. Sound was great. One of the cameraman men for the big screen was horrible their view was wobble and moved everywhere but on their faces. You were looking at a hand or the top of the head so just watched the stage instead besides that the Concert was awesome. Had a great time! read more

Unfortunately, during our very first experience at Little Caesars Arena, we encountered not one, not two, but three separate employees who treated members of our group as if we were an inconvenience. I have never been spoken to so poorly simply for walking through a building and participating in activities during an event. Our first encounter happened when we arrived at the entrance, where employees were handing out a limited number of chains to guests. I unknowingly took the first one and handed it to my child, then reached for another for my second child. The employee rudely refused and said it was one per person. I explained that I wasn't trying to take extras and that I was just a mother with two children, but instead of politely explaining the policy, she responded in a dismissive tone, saying, "I don't know that," even though she had just watched me give the first one to my daughter. We ended up having to take the chain back from my child so it could be handed to her directly. I fully respect policies, but the situation could have been handled much more kindly. The second incident occurred after the game when my children were participating in the free-throw experience, which required a separate ticket and a long wait in line. We were with a large group and wanted to watch each other's children and take photos. The employee directing us to leave the area was extremely rude. We were not holding up the line, as the people behind us were part of our group, yet she repeatedly told us we needed to exit the arena immediately. My 7-year-old son had already gone, and my 11-year-old daughter, who is a minor, was still in line behind him. When I refused to leave the arena without my child, the employee gave me an intimidating look and treated me as though I was doing something wrong, simply for staying with my daughter. The third incident happened while we were exiting the building. One member of our group needed to use the restroom, so we stopped briefly to wait. During that time, one family in our group took a quick photo while the rest of us stood nearby, tired from the event. Within just a few minutes, an employee began telling us repeatedly that we needed to leave immediately because they had to clean. We explained that we were waiting for our friend, and we had children with us who were behaving appropriately. No one in our group had been drinking, and at no point were we anything but respectful to the staff. We were also far from the last group leaving the free-throw event, so there were still many people in the building, yet this employee spoke to us in a very rude and condescending manner over a short delay. My family of four, along with the other families in our group, spent a significant amount of money to attend this event. We were excited to give our children a fun experience, but the way we were treated by multiple employees throughout the night made the visit disappointing. Because of these interactions, it is difficult to imagine wanting to return in the future. read more

Excellent venue! Very clean and spacious. Even though it was a full stadium for the Red Wings game, I never felt crowded. Plenty of doors and security to go through. Friendly staff. Ladies, if you are bringing a purse, it needs to be small- 4x6. My bag was too big so I used their bag check area which was fast and easy. Every seat seems like a great seat. Fun environment! I enjoy coming here. It is easy to get here from the freeway and parking is easy to get to and nearby. I typically park in the open lot across the way instead of the parking garage, it is easy to get out after a concert. The only downside is of course the cost of parking, which is outrageous. I paid $45, and it was not even a busy, high event day, so I fear it could be higher at times. I like the variety of food and drinks the arena has to offer. I like Mike's pizza the most, it is typically quality and really delicious. I have also been to another restaurant that has good burgers and nachos. While the food in the arena is costly, not as much as other cities or resorts. We each had a hot pretzel, a bit dry, but I had some mustard. It is typically very festive here with a fun vibe. You can walk around the look at the hockey items. We were at the Melanie concert. The merch was not too much. They had some fun kiosks with flavored lemonade and light up ice cubes. My child got one. I would have loved to have had a drink, but I will some other time I am sure. I have seen many types of events here, Cirque shows, concerts, I am been in different level seats plus I have been in their suites. I do not like how hard it is to go up and down the steps, you need to be careful, they are steep. This time I loved our seats. We got middle middle, just a row above the suites facing head on to the stage with no obstructions, just got lucky this time. It was fantastic, and coming here is always so fun.
