There is nothing better than dining on excellent cuisine while looking across a peaceful and beautiful lake with a ferris wheel in the distance. This eclectic chateau by the water is a very special space is perfect for brunches and leisurely celebrations. I personally love to journal while drinking coffee and this is a perfect spot to do just this. Each food Item on the menu is independent and stands alone. The tuna TareTare is a wonderfully upbeat and light experience and perfect to savor as a starter to the most excellent entreé appropriately named El Salmon De Mediterranean. Its a wonderfully seared piece of salmon hot off the grille placed into an ice cold bed of Tiziki, drizzled honey and the most incredible crunch from that of Pistachio and Salmon and wonderfully This combo is perfectly made and reminds one of the level of cuisine that Mexico City is so very blessed to have. I really wanted to love this place and debated even writing this review because I own a small business myself and know how damaging negative reviews can be. However, our experience was so poor that it truly warranted one. The location is beautiful, right in front of a pond with a lush view of Chapultepec Park, and the restaurant itself is modern and chic. We arrived without reservations and were quickly seated, and they even accommodated us by parking our bicycles. Unfortunately, everything after that went downhill and ended up being the worst dining experience we had in Mexico City. Three of us ordered the pasta burrata and our fourth friend ordered shrimp pesto pasta. We also ordered a bottle of white wine, guacamole, and a Caesar salad that the menu claimed was prepared tableside. I specifically asked if the Caesar dressing contained anchovies because I'm allergic; the waiter confirmed it did, so I ordered it for my friends only. The guacamole arrived 17 minutes after we were seated (confirmed by timestamped photos). The Caesar salad never arrived, and when we asked about it the waiter insisted we had never ordered it. We had to ask for it a second time. When it finally came out, it was not prepared tableside as advertised -- it was simply brought out already dressed, and the dressing honestly tasted like it came from a premade bottle. About 5-10 minutes later my friend received her pasta and our wine arrived warm. Roughly 20 minutes later the rest of our food came out, but instead of burrata the pasta was topped with goat cheese. No one told us they were out of burrata before ordering. The manager eventually confirmed they were out and asked us to choose something else. We then tried to order two other dishes, both of which they were also out of, and eventually settled on a chicken pasta that was very basic and frankly poor quality. One friend ordered the cordon bleu and was satisfied, but by then the experience had already gone downhill. Trying to salvage the lunch, we ordered another bottle of wine and stayed patient, but we also noticed every other table received bread upon arrival while we never did. When the bill came it totaled $330 USD for mediocre food and a terrible experience. We asked to speak to the manager and requested that at least one bottle of wine be comped given the multiple mistakes and delays. Instead of addressing it, they first sent a chocolate cake, which we declined because we simply wanted to leave after spending nearly 2.5 hours there. When the manager finally came over, his solution was offering us a $10 bottle of prosecco. Compared to a $300+ bill and multiple mistakes, this felt dismissive. We declined again and the final offer was a 9.5% discount. We gave this restaurant several opportunities to make things right but they chose not to. Unfortunately this experience ended up ruining a large part of our day. Summary: * Caesar salad never arrived and had to be requested a second time * Waiter claimed we never ordered it * Salad not prepared tableside as advertised * Warm wine served * Burrata dish served with goat cheese without warning * Multiple menu items unavailable after ordering * Long wait times despite the restaurant not being busy * No meaningful resolution for a $330 bill Without question the worst restaurant experience we had in Mexico City. read more

The place looks beautiful, the staff are nice, and that's exactly why this was so disappointing. I ordered the meatballs and ended up spending the last three days of my vacation in bed sick. Need brunch with a view? This is the place for you. An amazing atmosphere with the lake right next to you. Service was really friendly, but kind of slow. The food was also nothing special, in fact the tartine was bland and unpractical to eat. Other than that, we had a great time (and the coffee was amazing!) read more

Beautiful spot, good music and ambiance. horrible service. It took 20 minutes to refresh beverages and our food arrived during this 20 minutes. We asked 4 different people for water and wine and we sat thirsty for 20 minutes while our food got cold. Also, pets are allowed. Two different standoffs between two sets of dogs during the hour+ we spent here. Also, you can't leave. 15 minutes and still waiting on the check. Really want to leave a better review as it's a great spot on the lake, but will need 5x the patience to endure the nonsense to think it's worth a return visit. read more

I usually come here on Sundays. They don't have Brunch, so you either get there for breakfast or lunch. Breakfast buffet is around $15 and lunch around $ 25, pretty affordable if you're paying with green money, but for the locals this is quite expensive. Beautiful views of Chapultepec's Lake (one of them, it has 3). You can enjoy a walk around the lake to burn the Chilaquiles or Molletes' calories. read more
