Lovely little French restaurant. We wanted just soup for lunch. I had the French onion soup while my husband tried the bouillabaisse. Both were excellent, served with complimentary bread, an olive tapenade and butter, and followed by complimentary delicious truffles. Attentive service. This is probably my favorite on Emilio Castelar, the street where this restaurant sits along with dozens of other restaurants overlooking Lincoln Park. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are very quaint and cozy, the staff is on their game and the food is delicious and authentically French (I can vouch after spending a semester abroad in France). Highlights are: - The complimentary fresh bread with olive puree - Escargot - French onion soup - Steak au poivre Of course, most restaurants in Mexico City who portend to be anything other than a Mexican restaurant can't help themselves and they still end up finding a way to Mexicanize their menus. Great atmosphere, attentive wait staff. Went here for a business meeting, great way to end the trip to Mexico City. A local hotspot, the third floor is a nice place to host a big group. Enjoyed the apps and main courses. I recommend the Confit De Canard, and any of the Mezcal based drinks. read more

The dinner was good, but the atmosphere was the best thing. I would rate this place third on the list of places I ate during my 5 day trip in CDMX. For an appetizer I got a cheese plate. There were four cheese provided as well as some fruit. The serving of cheese was large, a bit much for an appetizer for just two people. For dinner I got the fish of the day. The waiter spoke good enough English to clearly explain the dish when I asked about it. The fish was served with a jalapeño sauce and rice. It was cooked perfectly. We got a sidewalk table. Even though the restaurant was busy we got a four top table so we could both sit facing the street. The staff did not rush me and I enjoyed a leisurely evening on this patio. read more

Great atmosphere right by the park - secure and outside table and take a little leisure in your day. There's a handful of French inspired egg dishes on the menu, as well as Mexican staples. Eggs Napoleon were particularly good. Decor is French bistro. I believe there's an upstairs we didn't see, but the tables outside across the park are delightful. There's also a small cafe/bar area for when things get crowded or you just want a quicker bite. On a separate note.. Honestly feels like half the reviews are fake: someone calling this a "nice American place" when it's actually Mexican/French, another person complaining of the small menu when the menu is actually a full, small font page (perhaps they just saw the bar/cafe menu?). read more

Ivoire was so wonderful! I ate outside and the ambiance was super nice next to the park. I ordered the burrata as an appetizer and gnocchi as a main dish. It was very filling and also delicious- cheese on cheese on cheese! The upstairs bar was pretty cool but empty earlier in the evening on a Friday. Overall I would recommend. :) read more

The best place for brunch on Sunday mornings. The service is is first rate! You're offered a selection of the freshest and best tasting bread I've ever experienced. The juices are all made fresh, in house. The espresso drinks are all excellent, at least the 3 that I've tried so far were. The food is excellent. My favorite are the traditional eggs Benedict. Cute little place in Polanquito! Perfect for brunch. I came here with a couple of friends on Saturday afternoon. I had a mixed juice, a chocolate croissant and the green chilaquiles. The service is absolutely terrible! Do not come here! Go elsewhere. Tons of other places nearby that we discovered after we left. It took about 45 min to get someone to look our direction to get our food order in. My friends coffees came, and my water never came. Waited another eternity for the food to arrive. My friend's eggs Benedict has EGG SHELLS in it! My pastrami sandwich was less than mediocre and the meat was slimy and my salad has so much salt on it, I finished the little water I had left from my hotel. Came here for lunch on a Saturday with my kids. This place is a cute little French restaurant located across from a park. We sat right next to a open window overlooking the park. It was a nice romantic experience. We ordered Escargot & Mussels for appetizers they were delicious. For lunch we ordered the Burger and the brisket it was ok nothing out of this world. Not many food options for kids except for only pasta. Overall this cute little restaurant located in Polanco I would recommend anyone to at least come here once and experience the food for yourself. read more

Don't eat the Eggs Benedict! Three out of four of us ate them, despite noting to the waiter that the sauce looked a little coagulated. And guess what? Three out of four of us spent the next two days in the bathroom. I spent the next two weeks fighting off a stomach issue. This is after having lived in Mexico City for 10 months and not gotten sick once. So lesson learned. Trust my first reaction and send it back if it doesn't look right. I will say, this place is a great location and their single table on the third floor (between the 2nd and 4th floor) is a good spot for a family or two with kids. (8 people). Ivoire delivers both ambiance and french cuisine exceptionally. Positioned across from Lincoln Park, request to sit on the patio to really soak in the beauty of Polanco and watch the street life. Best escargot I have had in recent memory. Each course delivered and was well displayed. If craving French cuisine in cdmx you have to come here or if in Roma I recommend Mexsi Bocu. I was so glad to stumble upon this place for breakfast. When my mom visited, I wanted her to see Lincoln Park, since I believe it's one of the prettiest areas of the city. We went early and halfway through our walk, we got hungry. The decor here is what drew me in. This place is gorgeous. They have old mirrors hung on the walls that are both pretty and make it look bigger. The outdoor furniture is a pretty wicker set and the inside has a cute checkerboard pattern on it, that gives the place an older feeling. The exposed brick is painted white and the ceiling is trimmed with wine bottles. Ok, as for the food: we got chocolatinis to start with our americanos. Everything was fresh and good. For the entrees, we got an eggs benedict and an omelette. The holandaise sauce was the best I have ever had and the eggs were perfectly poached. The pricing was reasonable, considering, we were sitting next to the park. The wait staff was incredibly nice and eager to help. I will gladly go back for another brunch experience. read more

I always love going to Ivoire. It is a very romantic restaurant, the salads are the best in DF and they have a nice menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sitting downstairs on the patio is always active and nice. For a quieter romantic setting, try sitting upstairs. You will be amazed at all the little nooks there are and it is so well designed. It is like being in a nice french, country home. The coffee (Illy) is also great so there are people there at all times of day. read more
