Great for happy hour and catching up with a friend. The upstairs is a more traditional sit-down set-up. We had a table in the corner with view of the small stage. There was a live guitar player, which made the ambiance even better. The cocktails were delicious. Overall Montreal has a great cocktail scene! I ordered moules-frittes. A VERY generous portion. I did not finish it, which was a bummer. It's hard to take left-overs when on vacation. The service is friendly, great recommendations and attentive.

The food was incredible with generous portions, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Every dish looked as good as it tasted. Shout out to our amazing server, Ariel. Warm, charming, and knowledgeable. He took his time walking us through the dishes and its ingredients, making sure our whole group felt taken care of every step of the way. In a city where we are visitors, he made us feel like regulars.

Each dish was timed perfectly, and we never felt rushed. Each was prepared perfectly and we would easily order them again. We ordered the Rabbit Confit in a Phyllo Dough in Red Wine Sauce; Mixed Green Salad with Balsamic Dressing, Pine Nuts and Shaved Parmesan; Bœuf à la bourguignonne; and a fruit tarte with ice cream. The dessert ? I ate 2 bites and left the entire thing. The "crust" was nowhere to be found it was watered down carton... and the lime layer felt like I was biting into fake jelly. I have nothing else to say but you can decide how you spend your money. The "fancy" restaurant leaves a lot to desire.

I chose the French onion soup and salmon entree, my mom went with the escargot to start and the pork chop for her main. The soup was so rich and delicious, my mom loved the snails. The salmon was cooked perfectly and my mom also enjoyed her pork chop. We also ordered a side of Brussels sprouts which were super tasty too. The portions were surprisingly large so we couldn't finish everything. They had asked us to switch tables partway through dining to accompany a larger party, which was fine for us and they offered us a complimentary dessert for the trouble. Since we were stuffed, we took the dessert to go. It was a deconstructed dulce de leche cheesecake and it was rich and so tasty. Would definitely return!
