Made a last minute reservation at Bistrot Gisele for a late Sunday dinner and was seated immediately. Very typical French fare offered here, with lovely tables outdoors to spend some time. Our server was attentive. I had the chicken cordon bleu as it was listed on Google as a favorite and it was good but a little dry for my taste. Star of my meal were the croquettes that we asked for as an appetizer shortly after we ordered our meals. Everything came out at once but that was our mistake, not the kitchen nor our server's. For dessert we got the crème brûlée, the creme itself was tasty but the brûlée still tasted of fuel...maybe this was user error and we should have let it sit a bit longer? Wouldn't write this place off but would rather go somewhere new. read more
