I called the store and was prepared to give them my invoice number and all for a refund. The person on the other end said she couldn't give me a refund after 5 days. I told her today is only the fourth day. Then she started changing get excuse saying, she can't remember and started accusing me saying how can she be sure that I didn't get the item. I politely told her, I purchased in excess of 100 dollars that day and I wouldn't be calling to lie about a 5 dollar item that was wrongly billed and which was their fault. She kept on saying the same things over and over again and refused to refund the amount or give the phone to her manager. There are far superior stores in the area where you get treated better. I have shopped at many Indian grocery stores in my life and this was the worst experience I have had with any in the region. On the actually items: I couldn't even get to the actual feedback that two of their items were stale even before the expiry date!

I appreciate this because I have purchased rancid nuts before! ha ha, not fun as macs are $$$! I thought that I'd feel pressured to buy in such a small space, but atmosphere was relaxed. I believe they also offer samples as I saw a couple inside chewing on something. I decided to buy 1lb of mixed nuts are they were DEVINE! Soo fresh. It is hard to see what is in stock so you will need to ask for what you want and how much per lb. A very helpful woman allowed me to sample the cashews (under my mask) to help me decide how much I would get. I like the lightly salted option - not too salty, but more salt than plain. They also had plain. I went home with: Lightly salted roasted jumbo cashews Lightly salted roasted pistachios in the shell Honey roasted cashews Wasabi peas Oriental mix Tasty, freshly roasted nuts. Also, high praise from my husband on the pistachios. I swung by the Cheese Boutique on my way back home. I am well stocked with snacks and treats for Christmas company.
