Some of the stands aren't actually from farms (from what I hear) but just people that buy large quantities of produce and go to market to sell it. I didn't buy anything from those guys. I DID, however, buy from a bunch of different families/farmers. It was so wicked cool! I was really overwhelmed by the size of the setup and the number of stands. I most appreciated the guys that offered samples of their fruits and veggies. In fact, I wound up just saying "yes" to buying everything they fed me as I took each euphoric bite. I'm not gonna lie... not all of the vendors are very friendly. I actually felt that the majority were not so. That was a bit of a letdown. But I spent enough time passing through the lanes and chatting with a handful of people that I still had a warm and welcoming experience. The market is open Friday and Sunday from about 7 or 8 am until about 4 or whenever they pack up and will run to October. I know where I will be doing my shopping for the next couple of months!

The dog was still in the car 20 minutes later. I asked a young lady manager to assist me and announce for the owner to please go back to her car and retrieve the dog. Well she took her time and she talked with a grin about my request to other workers. Then she laughed saying some lady wants me to announce the owner of the dog to please go to their car. Like a joke still no action taken and grinning in front of employee's and customers like I had lost my mind. Well I called the police they said contact them animal services. Which I did it is illegal. Just at that time now about a half hour dog left alone got angry with me calling me names etc. it's illegal no matter air on in your car which I found out yes I'm right. I picked up some brazil nuts for a pretty good price. I also picked up a flavourful zatar blend. They sell zatar leaves, which is something that I have never seen in a grocery store. There are probably quite a few things that you wouldn't find in most stores. I look forward to trying their baklava next time.
