Now he's a whopping 36 pounds, quite big for a cockapoo. Healthy and happy, sweet as can be. Pandemic procedures: They now have numbered parking spots. Call when you arrive. A tech will come and get your animal. If you want to come in with your pet, you may. They ask that you wear masks, but it's not required. Their staff is all masked and gloved. We went in because we always learn from our vet. She has a lot of good tips about dog behavior, and that personal interaction is valuable to us. Dr. Brister was great with Oliver, coming down to his level to ease his initial anxiety with her. She was gentle and caring with him. He didn't even flinch when he got his two shots. Consistently good care is the reason we love this place. All the vets are skilled, knowledgeable, and caring. The support staff work well together and communicate well with the doctors. There are places closer to home, but it's worth going a bit farther knowing we're getting quality care every time we need it.

His cat had a possible upper respiratory infection and an oozing wound on shoulder. The wound had matted fur covering the would from the drainage. The vet did not even clip the hair to look at or clean the wound. She gave the cat an antibiotic shot and said maybe that would take care of both issues. The wound is no better, still matted and oozing. I suppose they would charge another $70 plus now to do what should have been done during that visit. The second cat received a bottle of eye drops that they charged $75 for, the drops are over the counter and I could have purchased them for $30 from Chewy! Will be looking around for a new vet.

I showed interest in a dog they had for adoption. I filled out and submitted the form online. I had…read moreconfirmation from landowner stating that it was okay for me to have a pet. I received an email stating that I had been approved. This all happened early in the week. Today (Saturday) I drove all the way in from the next county to meet the animal that I had been approved for and some attendant came out and wouldn't even let me meet the dog because he decided that day based on the same information on the application that I wasn't a "good fit". They also could have let me know this before hand and saved me the gas and time. I guess I should have gone on a different day, maybe a different attendant would have actually wanted TWIX to find a great home. VERY DISAPPOINTED. DO NOT RECCOMEND.

Creve Coeur Animal Hospital was with us for his entire life. He struggled with so many different allergies. We were there for monthly injections, prescription food, and medicated shampoo. I joined another veterinary clinic in an effort to get a better price for a dental cleaning. On my baby's last day of life, I called both veterinarian clinics and described his symptoms. The other veterinarian clinic offered for me to drop him off and leave him there while they tried to figure out what was wrong with him. If I had gone that route, I would've missed my last day with my dog. Creve Coeur Animal Hospital took his symptoms seriously and got us right in. They were sympathetic, informative and unbelievably patient. They walked us through the most difficult decision with grace. Since our last visit we have received paw prints and a certificate acknowledging a donation made in my good boys honor at the university of Missouri school of veterinary medicine. Creve Coeur Animal Hospital isn't just my vet. They were friends and family for my sweet Hobbes. You helped me give Hobbes 9.5 years of comfort and health. Thank you Creve Coeur animal hospital for all the years of love and care. It'll be a while before I'm ready to open my heart again but I have no doubt that my first new puppy visit will be with you.

When I asked again if it was possible she finally responded "fine" and hung up. Please fire or demote whoever you have at reception-they do not need to be working in a field where you talk to people because clearly they don't know how. If your life is bad you don't need to take it out on others.

I have an old bad-backed, short-legged, long-bodied mutt that is 1000% anxious about 99.9% of the…read moretime. She is comfortable at home but out in public she is nervous and shuts down. Dr. Strode is absolutely amazing with my dog, Lady Peach. Lady Peach tweaked her back and she was not rebounding as much as she had with previous back injuries, she has some lasting neurological deficiencies. After discussing with her normal veterinarian and trying a slew of medications to make sure she is comfortable,my vet suggested chiropractor care as a 'cant hurt, might help' hail mary. I looked at a few different places in the area, but Dr. Strode stood out because she is not a chiropractor that can work on dogs, she is a veterinarian that can do chiropractic care on dogs. Prior to our first visit, Dr. Strode called me to discuss my dog in detail to confirm she would be a candidate to proceed with a chiropractic consultation. On initial consultation/exam, Dr. Strode discussed a care plan in great detail with me (also letting me know that depending on how my dog responded to treatment it may change the plan). After some adjustments and laser therapy sessions, we now go in every few months for maintenance. My dog is still very nervous, but she is always excited when we pull into the parking lot. Since she is so nervous, she is stiff and hunkers down when she gets on the cushion for her adjustment, but Dr. Strode always does her best to make sure that she does a thorough adjustment on Peachy. She never seems annoyed or frustrated that my dog is very hard to evaluate due to her nervousness, she always sweet talks my dog and tries to get a tail wag. I can always tell when it is time for an adjustment, my dog definitely comes out moving much better. Dr. Strode also gave us some 'homework': things we can do at home and on the daily to help my dog, things I never would have thought to do. My dog will never be completely normal with her mobility, but she is much better now that she gets adjusted, I truly believe that Dr. Strode has made it possible for us to keep Peachy around and comfortable for this long thanks to her attention to detail and compassionate care.

You will never convince me that there is a better veterinarian or for that matter a better person…read morethan Dr. Chip. She consistently goes above and beyond in her care for animals. The care she has shown to my dogs to me & my friends' pets never ceases to amaze me. My dogs are both healthy & happy due in large part to the care & support that they receive from Dr. Chip. In fact, everyone that works in this office is wonderful from both doctors to all of the staff. You can tell they truly care and it's such a comfort, especially when you're dealing with something that's difficult. Hats off & my utmost respect for this practice & everyone who works there!!
