As a proud girl dad I take birthday parties seriously. We have had parties before but this year my daughter had a whole class to invite. We would have loved to have done the park but with the weather being unpredictable we decided on Bizzy Bee. We are so happy we chose this place. We came here on a Friday at 11 am. It wasn't terribly busy but there were more kids there than I expected since school is in session now. If you've never been here, fill out a waiver on their site before you go or you can fill it out there by scanning the QR code at the entrance. Also, you must wear socks so bring them or you'll have to buy some there. After you pay, they give you matching bracelets so nobody can leave with your kid. Their website says they'll check these when you leave but ours were not checked. I'm sure this was because the girl also checked us in but I watched multiple people leave when nobody was at the entrance and their bands were not checked either. I stayed with my child the whole time but there were people working on their laptops while their kids were playing so not really paying full attention... would definitely be best practices to always check bands even if you remember the people coming in together. You can rent lockers at the cafe for $2, which I did. It would be nice if the keys were on a lanyard for those who don't have pockets. My daughter loved this place and has been asking all day today to go back. After tax, it was just under $15. She played for two hours and would have played longer, if I would have let her. The Tiny Town area was her favorite but a lot of stuff is missing (go back and look at pics from two years ago). There were pretty much zero tools in the gas station/mechanic area. The doctors area was missing stuff. They have changed the supermarket into a bed and breakfast. They still have some food in there but nothing like they used to. I'm assuming stuff was stolen or broken but those things can be easily replaced through Amazon. I've been to a lot of indoor play centers and children's museums throughout the country so I am definitely comparing this place to those and it was just ok for me. Will we be back? Great indoor play place with open space. I love that I could sit with my friend and her 15 month old in the toddler area but yet watch my 8 year old run and climb through the big kid obstacles. Very clean! The entire time I was there there were multiple workers straightening and cleaning and disinfecting each area constantly on rotation. My son had a blast! Dress up, role play, run, climb, and slide. Bring socks for the kids and adults, this is a no show facility. Only downfall was how expensive it was. This was our first time going here, and it was during Covid. We went on a tuesday, and it was optional to wear a mask (which i wasn't too fond of, but what can you do). There were maybe like 12 people in the building. The place was exceptionally clean thankfully. There was a space for my son who is 3 to play, and a space for my 1 year old to play. Adults weren't too close to each other, but the kids could play anywhere (which they should). My son asks all the time to go back. I have to make a trip when I have the time! They have a toddler focused area and then a whole "town" for kids to imagine and play. So nice, clean and a huge space! The tunnels are awesome for all ages and the toddler/play rooms are great for younger kids. They have multiple birthday party rooms and a cafe that serve hot foods, coffee, and drinks. It's about $15 per child for any age. This place was amazing. My two year old absolutely loved playing there for several hours. So many different things for him to play with and he loved climbing on the big jungle gym area. This play center is incredible. There is so much for kiddos to do and during our two hours there, my child was never bored. The cafe was a nice touch to be able to grab a drink or snack while the kiddos play. The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: -We were there on a Saturday which I'm sure is why it was so incredibly busy. We expected it to be busy. What I did not expect, was for the toddler area (I was there with my 15 month old) to be overrun with children that were way too big to be in there and climbing all over things that they shouldn't have been, running around like crazy, with zero parents in sight. My 15 month old was playing on the floor with some toys and a kid who was probably about 6 or 7 (he was bigger than my 5 year old) was climbing the treehouse slide on the outside of it and jumped down and landed on my child and ran away like nothing happened, while my child screamed in pain. A little more control over which children are in the toddler area and maybe a gate or something and having parents be a little more mindful of their children would make an already incredible venue even better. -There was a parent vaping in the play "vet clinic". She kept going in there, hiding and vaping and then coming back out. Again, just better eyes from the staff of the things happening throughout the facility would have helped with this situation. Again, incredible place. We were visiting from Orlando, Florida and we had a blast visiting and if we ever make it back to Charleston, we will DEFINITELY bring our kids back again! I have a 14 month old and she loves this place! The first time we went was right around when they first opened. I was instantly impressed when I saw them whipping things down throughout our time there. There's a designated area for 0-4 year olds with age appropriate toys/things to climb. There are a few different themed rooms where kids use their imagination. There's also a jungle gym type thing that is pretty large! If you are a frequent visitor and can become pretty pricey so getting a pass may be worth it. They have plenty of areas for the adults to sit and watch their littles. They also have a cafe that has a decent amount of food such a coffee, breakfast and lunch items. Not sure about those prices. My daughter got plenty of passes for Christmas so we will be there plenty! read more

We tried this place out. It is spacious. There's good play equipment. The cafe girl is super sweet. But right now there is summer camp going on daily. It's very very busy and the staff aren't enforcing rules with the summer camp kids so there is pure chaos. The staff have been clumped together chatting and carrying on and not enforcing rules. Kids are running through the cafe area and being quite rough in some areas. One ran in mine with a tricycle. The shoe rule is over the top. It's actually the only rule I see being enforced. All indoor play spaces have a designated area where you can hang out and keep your shoes ON. They don't. I need my shoes for support and never ventured into the play areas. I always remove my shoes if I need to. Was told to remove them anyway. I got my feet wet since the area I'm in is a cafe with hard floors. I just think there should be an option with shoes to stay on in the cafe area. It's logical. If you need something a little less chaotic where kids have their parents to enforce rules I recommend Mellow & Play Cafe. We will be going there since it's far less chaotic, has a no shoe option area separated from the play area, and the children are at least properly looked after by parents thus making the rules enforceable. We may give this another shot in the fall (and I will update the review then) when they aren't having over 100 kids here daily for summer camp. It is making it harder for those of us who responsibly keep a good watch over our kids. If your child is at all sensitive to this kind of environment I recommend the other place. Even the toddler area was flooded with older children at times from the summer camp. read more

Worst place in Charleston. Took my kids here to play for a few hours. Place is extremely understaffed. This place needs to be cleaned and sanitized. An hour after leaving all three of my kids ended up in the hospital. They need to have an employee check kids temperature or whatever well check they have to do to prevent kids from getting sick. I will never take my kids here again. I'm very close to calling Dhec to have this place evaluated. read more

This place is wonderful and my kids (toddler and big kid) both love playing here! The only reason they didn't get a full five stars is because it's a little pricy and the staff can get kind of bossy (towards adults too, not just kids) but I get that they have to be that way to keep things running smoothly. Make SURE to wear socks there to avoid having to pay for them because they do go through and check for socks on both adults and kids many times a day. This place is kept very clean!
