It is rock hard and every single person I watched slammed their face into the side of it when they were bucked off (my child included). The young female instructor gave the group very clear directions & spelled out everything in concise, easy to understand language for kids. She explained the gear & the importance of taking good care of one's "koala," (the metal toggle attached to the thick metal zipline.) Before I knew it, my son was off & running. He did the first run, the second, then completed the whole circuit. He did it over & over, & even opted for the next level up! I saw the owner actually work one on one for over 30 minutes with a boy who wasn't ready to do the zip line but wanted to try the rock wall instead. This is a really fun concept & I love how each person does the course on his own, with the guides present mostly for encouragement & for keeping things running safely & smoothly. It is a great outfit for a celebration like a birthday, team building for professionals, or simply for some family bonding. It's very clean, well-run, & the guides are top notch. I highly recommend it!

The teachers went so far above and beyond to make every child feel seen, welcomed, and included. You can tell they love what they do. The space itself is absolutely stunning. Beautiful, clean, thoughtfully designed, and filled with great toys that encouraged so much imaginative play. My son had the best time and for a little while we were able to forget about everything happening outside those walls. Thank you for showing such kindness during such a difficult weekend. When I arrived just over an hour before closing, I was told that their various exhibitions of bird-related activity were already done for the day. Nonetheless, I was charged full price if I wanted to come in, an eye-watering $25. I've seen other places charge less under such circumstances, but that's a lot for an attraction regardless. The main reason I said yes was the veterinary clinic I passed on the way in; I have a soft spot for both medicine and owls. Having arrived, I meandered through several sets of cages where birds sat awaiting to be observed. Some of the birds were on the mend from various injuries. A wide variety of species were present; not just those local to the immediate surroundings. You couldn't expect to find more and more interesting birds in a place of this sort. The wiring around the birds does interfere with viewing, but given the size of the claws on some of those birds you definitely wouldn't want to have lax security. Overall the place was clean with well-maintained facilities; at least I could see the money was actually being spent. I was told that also had a plan for a massive bird evacuation in the (entirely likely) event that a hurricane might threaten this coastal facility. I did happen upon a smallish raptor of some sort getting some early falconry training while on a rope leash. Apparently some of their birds are bred and trained specifically for "educational purposes". Large birds are charismatic and interesting wildlife, and the sounds and sights were worthwhile. I wish I could have learned a bit more about the veterinary operations (as a human doctor, it is not entirely clear to me what you could realistically do for a bird).
