J & J gave my Honda Fit a 100K mile service the other day. I went in with some knowledge of what replacing the serpentine belt and spark plugs would cost and I am happy to report that they quoted me a fair price and did a good, fast job. With no mansplaining, condescension, or price gouging. THEN. While on tour, my car started making noises that sounded suspiciously like a busted catalytic converter. A shop in New Orleans took a look and quoted me nearly $3K to replace the front and back of the catalytic converter, plus my O2 sensor, etc. I drove it home to Nashville with the windows down (so as not to poison myself via a busted exhaust system) and took it to J & J. Turns out it was just a busted gasket and that $3,000 repair bill went down to just $600. Including labor. I was in and out in a couple days and back on the road. No more rattling. These guys are honest, friendly, fast, and local. They'll cut you a break when they can. I'll be giving them my business for years to come and you should too.

They were about to take a long roadtrip to see friends so he wanted to avert any unnecessary emergencies on the road. Six months after they supposedly installed a new battery, the battery died. When my dad took a look at the battery, it was the same Ford OEM battery that came with the expedition when they bought it new, not the replacement this place sold him. When he took it back they gave him some BS story to explain what happened. They did finally install the battery he bought 6 months prior. If they will pull this scam on an old man, they have no moral compass and I would advise all to stay away.
