I found Bowles to be very professional, very reasonably priced and a delight to do business with. My husband and I were discussing and it is like stepping back it time to when customers were appreciated and respected. I recommend. They have done an oil change, replaced spark plugs and installed 2 new tires this week. I have an appointment next week to get my other vehicles oil changed. They did not try to pressure sell in any manner. They actually said I could probably wait a bit longer on spark plugs but my husband wanted to get them handled now.

I'm done with this company. There are better tire places and better prices.

Instead of doing something as simple as putting it in neutral and rolling it into the shop, they left it sitting outside and then told me they couldn't work on it because it was outside. There was very little effort made to solve the problem or help me. It felt like they gave up before even trying the most basic solution. I expected much better customer service and a willingness to troubleshoot, but instead I was left frustrated and without any real assistance. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a shop that's willing to go the extra mile.

The second alignment was on a '84 Mercury Capri. The guy had no clue what he was doing. I had to tell him what part he could move to put it back in alignment, it drove well. The third was the one that made me realize this place didn't have a clue on what they were doing and it cost me $100. This one was a '16 Toyota Tundra and this "gentleman" was having the hardest time trying to get the toe on the right side to move. Unfortunately this wasn't needed because 5k miles later my front right tire was bald on the outside of it. So I had to go to the dealership to get it lined up the right way. Don't waste your money at this place, you will regret it. And the people working here at the time were not very professional.

UPDATE 1/23/26:…read more I've been going to Discount Tire for years. Always helpful & quick service. Today's visit was for a rotation & balance. Appt at 8:15. Granted, I was dumb & chose the day before snow-mageddon to do this, so the wait was longer, but it's overall been longer each time. Appointments only help so much. The wait time tracker is almost pointless. They (assuming driven by Corporate) book too many appointments, not leaving adequate room for walk-ins. People will arrive after me without an appt but be serviced before me. Churn & burn. Everyone is overworked. Back to my point - Somehow, they didn't have a deep socket for my lugs. I saw the guys looking through the cargo area of my car for a deep socket. I think it'd be courteous if they asked me first before searching my car. I could have told them nothing was back there. Just stop & think about what you're doing for a second. Shoutout to Jaime (always great service) - he went to Lowe's & bought a deep socket to get my car done while I was there & even gave me a socket to keep my car for next time. Talk about an awesome guy! 1.5 hrs later, my car was done. I get home to find another nick on one of my wheels (special order from Japan; took 3 months to get). And, yes, it was definitely DT, as I check my wheels closely, and this time it was next to the lug nut. It's the second time it's happened. Once when I had the tires & wheels installed, and today during the first rotation. The guys in the bays are simply going way too fast. They're overworked & paid too little. I'll just do own rotation going forward. It's not worth the wait & continuous damage to my wheels. I still love Discount Tire & will return. But, Corporate, in the rare chance you read reviews, allow more time between appointments & maybe implement additional training in the bay.

They say most places don't do the work properly and we asked how they would do it - afterward, I asked a few places how they would make the fix we need, and these other places said the same things. They also talked about how they only need the vehicle for 3-5 days and most places don't have availability and take the car for 2-3 weeks. I've communicated directly with about 10 spots and they all had availability in the coming week as well as taking the car for just 3 days. I know this is a sales technique, and I don't appreciate it. Not the honest way to conduct a business.

I expected to be given the hard sale considering I was a woman shopping on my own. I explained that I wanted to drive it on my own, all day and that I would return that evening, when I came back the owner insisted that I take it overnight to see how it drives at night, how the headlights perform etc. Next day they were very accommodating and stayed open late to write the paperwork and get my new car ready to go. Their selection is small but high quality. I think the pricing is fair and reasonable for the miles, year, & condition. It is highly likely that we will buy a car here for our next driver when she gets her license! I gladly recommend this dealership!

I have a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer (very low milage/secondary vehicle) on which the headliner was…read more"sagging" in several places due to age. Spray adhesive (3M Headliner and Fabric Adhesive/@Amazon) didn't solve the issue because the foam the headliner was attached to continued to crumble. So I did an online search and one of the companies I found was "Bigs Mobile Headliners." I liked the idea that they came to your location and did the work rather than me having to take my vehicle to some other location and leave it. I phoned Bigs and spoke to Jim Lucas and made an appointment for him to come to my house and do the repair/re-cover. Jim came out and none of the (dozens) of fabrics he had on hand were an exact match (one was close, but not exact). Using a fabric sample card, Jim found an exact match and ordered the material. Jim texted me a couple of times to keep me apprised of the progress on the arrival of the material (it was fast). Two days after the original appointment Jim phoned me and gave me a time he could arrive to do the repair. He arrived on time and completed the job in about two hours. The headliner now looks "factory new" (better). The fabric Jim used appears to be of better quality than the original. Jim does need access to A/C power to run his "glue gun" compressor. Interestingly, the price Jim quoted me was the lowest bid I got. It is unusual for "low bid" and "high quality work" to go hand-in-hand. But with Jim, it did. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the work Jim did and would highly recommend him. Oh, and Jim is very personable and cleaned up all of the fabric scraps in my driveway where he worked. When he left, you could even tell he'd been here.

I had an appointment for Friday for an estimate for my daughters car because we are going out of town on Saturday. I got a call on Thursday from the appointments lady saying my appointment was cancelled and wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule. I asked why it was cancelled and she said because she never received authorization from my insurance. I asked why I was getting a call to let me know my appoinment was cancelled but didn't get a call to let me know they were about to cancel so I could get it taken care of. I didn't get a real answer to that question and they made no attempts to help. Within 30 minutes I had my claims rep send over the authorization again and I called back and they said they couldn't help me and I would just have to reschedule. Even my insurance claims rep said at any other place he would have gotten a call. He deals with the repair shops on a daily basis. I went to the Lebanon, TN Caliber Collision and they were extremely helpful and worked with me to get this resolved. Very poor customer service at the Caliber Collision in Gallatin, TN.

I have been taking my cars to this location for oil changes for the last few years. I had an engine…read moreissue on my 2011 Camry. I needed a repair at beginning of last year and they told me I needed my engine replaced. Knowing that wasn't true, I asked what that would cost and they quoted $9k for a used engine. When I declined the work, one of the mechanics offered to buy my vehicle off of me for $500. I instead replaced the Balance Shaft Assembly for $2,500 and still drive it to this day. After a few months, against my better judgment, I decided I would only let them do my oil changes. I work remote and put on a lot of miles on my work vehicle. With this I use my washer fluid almost daily. On my last oil change, I was told I had a leak in my washer fluid container in my 2020 Avalon and it would be a $500 for just a diagnosis on why it is leaking. I told them I use it everyday and I have not had a leak in it because there is always fluid and I have never had fluid under my car. When I walked to my car, the fluid was steadily dripping out of the corner of my bumper. I asked to speak with the manager Justin and he had left for the day. This was on a Friday. I told the guys at the counter it was not brought in with a leak and maybe their tech overfilled it, but if it continues to drip I have a major issue with it. They told me they would have their manager reach out Monday to check on me. The dripping stopped a couple hours later and I thought nothing else about it. Monday rolled around and the manager never reached out and I have not heard from this shop since. Now, it's time for my next oil change and I called to schedule and they tell me they will no longer service any my vehicles. LOL If you want to get scammed when your cars need repairs and treated like you're an idiot when you question why their estimates don't add up, this is the place to go. Thank you Mike's Automotive for discontinuing our business together. I'm sorry I don't fit your business model where you take advantage of your customers and get away with it.
