Man behind the computer tells me the equipment is really worth $90. I ask him what his source for this is, he shows me Jasonbooks.com. Jasonbooks.com is a scam, verifiably so. I don't know what this business is a front operation for, or why they think people are so stupid, but I'm pretty sure this real estate could be better occupied by something more respectable, like a porn shop or something. Disgusting and insulting.

I made a purchase online via the "Used Guns Bravo Store System" and the next day i went to go get…read moremy purchase and they acted as if they couldn't find it. Then the went in and out of the back warehouse looking at i guess my order whispering. After a few minutes two different older males came out the back and stated (1) "It was sold and was wrong. We don't have it" stated the male with dark hair and glasses (2) " yeah, the price listed on the site was wrong and that was some other charges and fees total" stated the same guy. (3) "C'mon man you think we would sell you that gun back there for that price?" stated the much older guy with the gray ponytail. So they did have it and just didn't want to hand over what i paid for. I was told that" the sale would be canceled and have a good day by the guy with the dark hair as the guy with the gray hair stated " I'm not giving that gun.... and who listed as i walked out. That purchase was as legal binding contract that goes both ways even if i made an offer/bid of $1000 for a firearm worth $99.00 i would be told its a legal binding contract and would be charged. The difference is i would have honored that agreement because i should have done better research unless they false advertised. The firearm wasn't sold just moved to another location which is why i have an issue after buy and upgrading firearms with Pawn Depot. I knew the gun would show up for sale and I've done my homework with paperwork. Just truly disappointed they were not honest upfront, lied, connived and manipulated the whole purchase instead of working something out with me. I can and will add pics /Document uploads to this platform, if necessary. I will reach out to Bravo "used guns.com" legal department. It was and is a legal contract that the canceled for Pawn Depot reason being" couldn't be shipped " when it was an in-store pickup. It's just the whole manipulation part instead of just saying " hey we f'ed up and noticed after you purchased the firearm. Could we work something out

Staff is lacking training and general knowledge. A female representative stated I did not have to wait for a service. Hours later upon calling to inquire about my item I was told by a male representative that they did not submit my documents due to me leaving.(Remember the female employee stated that I did not have to wait during the review.) Go elsewhere, they do not give you loyalty cash or anything. Save yourself the time and stress and proceeded about 6 blocks further and visit BJ's or ANYONE EXCEPT PAWN DEPOT OF GRETNA.

They do have old typewriters and old phones though, at decent price (around $115-175 for typewriters, and $25 for the old phones). I thought those were the coolest items. If you are out on River Road this could be a good stop before heading over to Rivershack Tavern.

I've been reading about how New Orleans was voted the number one spot in the nation for flea…read moremarkets; so how come Yelp is lacking on reviewing them? This is why a NOLA Elite is needed... I got a tip on River Road Flea Market from an acquaintance, who became an acquaintance because I was asking about where to get furniture. Of all the stores and spots she recommended, this was my favorite and definitely the best. It was a little difficult to find because their address online says the city's name is Jefferson and my GPS only recognizes Jefferson as a parish. Now I know it's in New Orleans city, and not all the far away at all. It's located literally right by the river, separated by a grassy bank and the levee. The building is HUGE. It's like a warehouse divided into little rooms, all of which are decorated with amazing antiques and thrifty finds for a fairly reasonable price (about 125 for a desk-sized table, 150 for a wardrobe or dresser). It's not the cheapest spot, but the quality of the merchandise makes up for it. They get most of their merchandise from estate sales, apparently, and the eclectic collection certainly reflects that. Several of the rooms are themed: jewelry, records, children's furniture and toys (there was an amazing vintage rocking chair that I would buy just to anticipate having children... except I'm not), books, etc. Outside in a small gated area, they sell specialty Mexican pottery, most of which is large and would be appropriate for a yard, and wrought iron benches and trellises. I purchased a vintage bracelet for $5, and I can't wait to go back and actually purchase furniture, once I'm moved in! Just don't beat me to it; there's a table and a bedframe that I've already got my eye on...
