I told my wife that, and she had 0 interest in trying them. But then she did, and immediately her mind changed. We stop on the way up and back on any trip to Vermont. It's 2 hours from Boston, and about an hour and a half from Middlebury, so it's the perfect spot for an off-highway meal. Any trip to Vermont isn't complete without at least one of these sandwiches - and if we have to skip, it's always with the promise that next time we will make sure to stop. I'm not going to say that these sandwiches are the best in the world. They're not made with impeccable ingredients, locally-sourced from farmers who care. No, what these sandwiches are are middle-of-the-country, happened-up, secret-back-deli sandwiches that will fill you quickly and happily. You're going to order your sandwich from someone who may be slightly annoyed that you're bothering them into making you a sandwich, but don't take that as a negative - they're still going to make you the same delicious sandwich every single time, without variance. Yep... broken water pump and overheating... Mind you, this GMC 2018 Sierra (fully paid off)... has gotten me completely cross country back in October, 2024... with no issues, not even a scratch... Vehicle is towed to Bob's Service Center at 10 am that day... Not Bob, but Josh... "Let's see, water pump, coolant and belt tensioner assembly need replacing... it'll be ready by two..." Josh was right on schedule... Professional, thorough, and kind... Picked up the vehicle... warranted work for 2 years/24,000 miles... back on the freeway I went... only a few hours delay... but no matter... the vehicle must be reliable... It was... Coldest day in White River Junction... This driver and owner will seek these gentlemen out for future auto repairs... they are simply the best... And kind... They explained everything... I also booked a tire rotation and was told to expect to wait one hour for both services. After one hour, the tire rotation was finally completed and then it took another 30 minutes for the oil change. So, I was kept waiting 30 minutes longer than expected and I paid over $30 more than the dealership would have charged me for the oil change. Live and learn.

When I got in the truck, I noticed that the mileage on the contract was 123 miles below the reading on the odometer, and the gas reading was a quarter tank when the contract said it was at 5/8 tank. I called, but there was no answering machine, and left an email message through Uhaul about all of this in the middle of our move, but was still charged for the additional mileage and $120 for the gas that was never in the tank when I picked it up. People make mistakes, I get it. HERE'S THE KICKER. Davis insisted that I did not know how to read an odometer, told me to take it up with Uhaul, and hung up on me. I've stopped payment on a nearly $400 charge to my card for a rental that should have been approximately $200. I know this is the Uhaul service, and not the auto service, but if it's any indication of how he treats his customers across the board, DO NOT GO HERE.
