You might have probably guessed it already but I'm not a huge fan of this BJ's. Unfortunately, my husband insists on a membership every year so here we are. The store is old, doesn't have a gas station so why am I paying for a membership? The employees are miserable and why is there someone at the front checking people's receipts? Isn't this really pointless??? I bought avocados today, 5 for $4.49, great price! But my receipt reads 5 for $4.79 (still a great price but why the mysterious price hike?). Love how the lady at cash register: 5 attended us. Cashier: 511224. Had a attitude when she was checking us out not even a "please" or "hey can you pick this item up for me please!" The deli line is a joke. They rarely have more than one person working. When we go on a weeknight the guy moves so slow it's not even worth our time. We stood in line with only 3 customers ahead of us. After 20 minutes and he was still on the second couple we just left. I have money to spend but apparently BJ's doesn't want my money. read more

I think the pandemic has really had a huge negative effect on this store. I have been shopping there since the day they opened. I usually can find the products I need but sometimes they are short of things like paper goods. They also put coupons in their flyers for items they don't even have in stock. The deli is now closed due to lack of employees. The deli is my first stop at BJ's so this is very disappointing. We really need a wholesale store in this area so I hope they can recoup before it's too late. The employees are polite and helpful which is a plus for me. read more

I've been a member for 20 years, and go to Dtown store since 2007. It's pretty good. I did have a run in with an old manager years ago but he's long gone. I find most items are cheaper here then at Amazon. Pretty good inventory. read more

Lobster bisque soup from legal seafood sold at BJ tastes terrible! It is too salty & we see no piece of lobster. It does taste fishy.

My complaint is for the lady that works in the vision center. I stood there waiting 15 minutes and she didn't even say anything to me. She was alone and with a customer but it takes one second to say hi or I'll be with you as soon as I'm done! I got nothing! I worked in customer service for 20 years and never would not acknowledge someone! I just wanted to let you know you lost a customer which probably isn't a big deal to you but I will be writing to your corporate store and hopefully they will think it's a big deal! Also I found the glasses and contacts at Costco and the employee was very nice and professional maybe your employee could take a lesson from her! read more

I don't know what's up with the deli. It seems like a new employee every month. Well two weeks ago I asked for Dietz and Watson home style oven roasted turkey breast sliced thin. The outside label said Dietz and Watson but I know for a fact it was Wellsley farms turkey breast. Please ask for a sample when ordering lunch meat so you know your getting what you paid for. The deli workers have to do better. read more

Terrible customer service with mostly miserable employees. I was emailed a coupon, which was not honored because I did not print it. Although the email didn't say to print it, they wouldn't scan the barcode and honor it. Very smug, nasty " manager" who told me to go home and print it and return for the discount. I've been a member since it opened, but will not rejoin. Much less merchandise than Costco, and poor customer service. Also this place could use an update. Called this location up and spoke to one of the mechanics in the tire area and asked if they could install tires for me even if I purchased the tires elsewhere. The mechanic told me to come in and get my tires installed as it would not be a problem. So I purchased my tires online. When I received the tires, I called BJ's to make an appointment to have the tires installed. It was at this point I was told that they wouldn't install the tires for me. I explained to the manager that not only was I told once, but twice in two different phone conversations and played back the two conversations. The manager admitted that I was told by the mechanic that they would install them, but he would not honor that commitment. Instead he advised me that the mechanic would be "re-trained" and he wouldn't install the tires. At that point I went inside the BJ'S store to talk with the store supervisor but she said the same thing and added that the mechanic misspoke. She then basically said tough sh*t! Didn't offer any apologies, any help, nothing! Just a stone cold bitch! To be fair,I did call to talk to someone at the BJ'S corporate office and they told me someone would get back to me within 3 days. It's been 10 days, what a surprise - no call! read more

This is the by far the best wholesale club I have ever been to! It is always clean and very well stocked. All the employees are extremely helpful and the customer service has been great. The produce is fresh, as is the meat. Big fan of this BJs :D read more

I stopped in to get tires, was told I had to order & schedule my appointment online. Arrived on scheduled day my 1.5 hr appt took all day due to they broke 2 of my wheel studs (that they could not fix there) then when I entered my car I noticed that someone had went through my car stealing whatever change/bills (not much, not the point) and charms out of my car! I reentered questioning how this could happen? I was informed that they had this happen before and would refund what I was missing.. Needless to say: I returned my tires and will not shop there again! read more
