"This is acceptable work" Also you replied "We would'nt make any money if we were to cut the blocking to fit". And this was after us discussing the crooked (not level man) doors installed with broken jambs, which you admitted to be shoddy work by your crew. However we did come to an agreement that we would fix the doors as we felt we were better skilled to properly install them. I would like to note for the record We did negotiate $800.00 off our final bill for them to be removed and new ones to be installed by us. When you replied "We are one of the best builders in the PNW". I would state you are not even close in my opinion with my extensive background in building... We very much regret hiring your company! *Update 3/9/2023. We added some of the exterior finish photos today that also show bare wood exposed to the elements, which we do have wind coming through these areas along with moisture. As you can see by the images, the trim is cut horribly and they even drew guidelines all over the metal. We have screws that are snapped off and even not contacting the girts inside. Speaking of the girts, these are the poorest quality #2's we have seen. The irony here is we are in the lumber business and this what we got. I will add they are very, very reserved in using house wrap, so its minimal at best. Anyways these images speak for themselves more updates to come. ***To anyone hiring a contractor these days, make sure you keep accurate notes, photos, videos and all written and verbal correspondence with times and dates. It was easy to schedule on the website, and Jairo came out promptly to look at the job site and give me a quote at a fair price. He sent reminder texts before the job, which was nice. Jairo and team arrived on time, completed the the job, and cleaned up the site afterwards. They also checked in with me several time during the job to make sure that they were doing everything exactly the way I wanted it. They took care of all the small details like sanding all the cut edges on the steps and rails and painting the shelving to match the existing paint in the closet, two things I never even thought to ask them to do. I will definitely use them again!

Brian is a contractor/handyman of impeccable integrity who, from what I can tell, works every day of the week. Point being, he probably doesn't even know what Yelp is much less goes online to correct his business profile. So dagnabbit I am going to do it for him. Most corporate execs could learn a thing or two from Brian. He has high standards of quality workmanship, is extremely customer service oriented, and does not seem to be primarily motivated by money. Ok, well, given the latter I guess he wouldn't be a good fit in corporate America, but that is good news for all of us out here looking for a skilled, reliable and honest contractor. Brian is all three. The first time I "hired" him - and I use quotes because Brian did not charge me - the claw on my clawfoot tub in a newly remodeled bathroom fell apart and yanked my plumbing from the wall. My dad was in town from Wisconsin and we were trying to figure out a way to avoid having to buy and install a new $4000-5000 tub! George Morlan Plumbing highly recommended Brian as a contractor who knew old homes in and out. I called him and he came on a weekend from Tigard. He brought in his tools, and helped my dad rig a solution that fixed the plumbing leak, allowed me to keep the original tub, and is still holding strong to this day - a couple of years later. He said to me "Well I probably just talked myself out of a job, but this fix won't cost you anything and will hold forever if you leave it." He was cheerful and happy and great to work with. He was fast and pleasant and trustworthy. I felt guilty that he was going to go back to Tigard from my NoPo home empty handed and tried to pay him, but he wouldn't let me. And it isn't like the economy was any friendlier to contractors then than it is now, but he never seemed desperate, greedy or otherwise overeager to bilk me out of a few hundred. That was a good place of trust from which I felt confident to work with him on future jobs. Especially if you own an older and maintenance intensive home, make Brian your go-to guy. He isn't the cheapest, but he is definitely the best.

I hired this company to put in a new aggregate driveway and new sloped step off the driveway. Two days after the driveway was poured, the forms were removed while I was away. I came home to find that the workers had washed too much concrete away from the aggregate pebbles on the sloped step, and several corners in the seams had rocks missing on the driveway. I immediately contacted Dan and he sent his sub contractor over to see what happened. At the subcontractor's expense, he dug up the new sloped step and re-poured the whole thing. He also tried to fix the broken corners on the driveway to some degree. Overall I think the quality could have been a bit better, but they made the effort to make it right and for that I am very grateful. I can definitely recommend them. The work they did for me was not totally perfect, but they did everything they could to make it right and my neighbors have all admired our new driveway!
