Great stop along our route for a wine tasting. Wish we could stay longer to enjoy the orchards. Purchased a few items from the shop. Trying one of the honey grilling sauces tonight.

This place has a gorgeous setting and lots of places to take fun pictures among other things... You walk into a large open barn that has freshly grown veggies & fruits from the area, an aged basalmic vinegar that is to die for, and their own homemade cheeses. The guys that were there were lots of fun and wanted to make it an enjoyable time for us. They showed us how eating foods and wine that come from the same region can really change the flavors of both.. that was interesting! I enjoyed their pinot noir.

Didn't have any wine but I can however give 5 stars based on their variety of fruits and veggies and EVERYTHING is "pick your own", if you want to. The atmosphere is so laid back and leisurely that you will want to stay here for the day strolling through the orchards or walking through the vegetable garden. They have raspberries, blackberries, peach, apples, pumpkins, tomatoes, peppers, cantaloupes and everything in between! When you're done walking around, you can spend some time tasting wine or having your own bottle seated by the river in one of the many places they've set up to put your feet up. Love this place.

While the wines offered by Black Bridge are good, the winery is worth stopping at just for the setting along the North Fork Gunnison River. There are plenty of orchard and vineyards to explore. A great time to come is during harvest season. Don't forget the pumpkin picking, too.

What a wonderful hidden gem! It was a perfect Saturday sitting by the river and sipping on wine. Loved the Oaked Chardonnay! Plus they have a cute shop to by local products. I highly recommend if in paonia.

The Black Bridge Winery store is called Orchard Valley Farms and Market. The store is well presented.

The tents are beautifully appointed (coffee and wi-fi, fresh towels) and have air conditioners that cool things down nicely (I visited in mid-July) for a good night's sleep. The showers have everything you'll need and the sheets are crisp and fragrance free. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. Cindie, the proprietess, was my gracious hostess. She and her staff were so accommodating, warm, and professional. They treated me like a prince! Everything has been carefully thought of to make my stay in the glamping tent easy and relaxing. The wines are wonderful (go for the petite syrah) and the charcuterie board turned out to be dinner one night. I will be back. This serene little farm is a keeper! Thank you, Cindie and your staff!

We stopped to just buy some wine to take home to our house sitter for taking care of our house while we have been out of town for four months. My husband did the tasting and I stayed in the car to limit our exposure. He bought a few bottles and I have already drank one. It is good wine. I can't wait to return post Covid and "experience" the place.
