Carolyn & Mike have an old-fashioned antiques and vintage business -- yet their collections range and diversity are so fun to browse through and enjoy. They also carry a huge amount of used stereo equipment and Joe can answer just about any question you might have on any subject you can come up with regarding stereo equipment, speakers, accessories and jazz music too. One caveat: the store can be quite cluttered with stacks of boxes and records and other items and sometimes they make it hard to get through aisles or inhibit your ability to shop items they have in stock. That's to both you and the shop's detriment. I brought it up to the owner once and he got short with me, so I left and haven't been back since, only because it's about an hour's drive for me. Very delighted to stumble upon Allison Wonderland. I feel like they just don't make toy stores like this anymore. Independently owned, and packed with so many great toys, activities, books, and more. I most loved the sustainable wooden toy selection, and all of the great puzzles/building-type options. If you can skip the fast-shopping online from places like Amazon or Target, be sure to!
