My young niece blew out her tire on I-25 near Castle Rock. It happened so fast she could not get over to the shoulder and was next to the median divider, then the express lane, then 3 lanes of traffic going 75 mph or faster. It was very scary. Within minutes of calling, Mario came to the rescue. He pulled up behind her, changed her tire (in the median! in the dark!)and put on the spare. Within 5 minutes of showing up, the problem was fixed, and we were all on our way. this could have turned out so differen, but with Mario to the rescue, he were all safe and made it to our destination. I applied to work for them, interview went well. I went through the motor vehicle check and the background check which I have no issues with. They made it seem like they treat everyone like family but they told me they would be in touch and disappeared. I have called the owner, Robert, multiple times a week leaving a voicemail simply asking him if he could let me know what he was doing as far as my employment one way or the other so I can know what to expect and he dodges my calls and never calls me back and probably will ignore this review. please take heed to my experience and make your own judgement if you're reading this read more

AAA said someone was en route with an eta of 10:05pm instead they show up after 12 hours, the next day! Plus no one answers the phone for customers or the AAA service providers when they try and call. I assume no one was in the office and they figured they'd get to it when they felt like it. Communication definitely needs to improve, along with attentiveness. I would never willingly give these guys any of my money. What jokers. Also immediately noticed that the tow truck driver tore apart some of the interior to my vehicle and I have no idea why. Very sketchy. I'll expect compensation for any extra repairs that have occurred at the hands of the driver. read more

Wait, this one tops all. My son and I overheated on I25 in June 2025. We called AAA roadside (our membership is based out of CA but they route you to AAA CO). We called at 3pm. No updates. 500 a driver from BDAT is on the way. 530, he rolls up and loads our beautifully restored camper Westy van. 6pm we pull into a shop that I found was still open and serviced VWs. 615 or so, driver comes into the office where I was with the shopkeeper to say "the gears don't work, I can't get it into gear." What? We had just driven in from CA and been on road for 6 days. No problemos. We were there bc we overheated and I wanted a go-ahead green light, being cautious, that was ALL. The driver of BLACK DIAMOND AUTO TRANSPORT has me go with him to the van, I jump in passenger side and proceed to watch him GRIND BACK AND FORTH the gear shifter WITHOUT THE KEY IN!!! My response in horror: "where's the key?????!!!!!" It was on the dash, he grabs it, puts in key, and wash, rinse repeat, grinds the shifter, "yeah, it doesn't work." That's bc you broke it buddy! I had to rent a vehicle for the balance of our 36 day Westy road trip (where I had her all dialed in!) and we shipped the van back home ($$$$) and RENTED a station wagon (not unlike wagon we intentionally had left at home), had to buy tent/camping equip, had to change all kinds of reservations from van to tent (or different property, and in some cases different city). So expensive (more than $5K) and also emotionally distressing. All bc a boneheaded driver didn't know you need to put the gear in with a KEY. The driver's front window had a MAJOR (ticketable) horizontal chick crack across the entire window + minor cracks. Yes was really late (probably not his fault, but his company's) and he doesn't know automotive. He was nice. That's besides the point. BDAT refused to own their negligence. In fact, now that I have a small claims case filed, they are refusing + returning legal court mail from me re: the trial. Uncanny. How do they sleep at night??? read more

Jabari towed our car after a wheel came off while driving. He faster than the estimated time. He was really nice, asked a lot of questions and explained everything he was doing. He made sure when he dropped the car off that it was places right where we wanted it and offered some advice for what we could do next. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right and correctly. I've had dome bad experiences using AAA where I live but their truck had everythingneeded to get the job done., so I will definitely be calling Black Diamond the next time I need a tow. read more

We were locked out of our car and called AAA who sent Black Diamond Auto Transport and we were VERY LUCKY that us who they sent. Ryan had us back on our way in minutes flat. Not to mention he showed up early. Ryan was absolutely phenomenal, he was professional and personal. The value that we received from Ryan and Black Diamond Auto Transport was gigantic. If I could give less than one star I would. Called AAA to get my car moved out of the top of my driveway where it was stuck. The driver was an hour late after his ETA arrival time and no call from the driver to let us know what's going on. He drives right past my house as I'm trying to wave him down, an hour late from his supposed arrival time. He Calls my wife's on the phone to tell her the road is too muddy and slippery and he cannot do the job but might come back later in the Day, I asked her to ask the driver to please come back, and at least talk to me, and he would not even do that. In the meantime, I'm watching small Hondas and Toyota's front wheel drive only going up and down the road. No problem. I ended up getting the car out myself with no help from this company. I would never ever use this company. I've reported to AAA what a horrible useless tow company this is. My car is a AWD Lincoln MXX not a huge truck or something oversized. read more

Wow just Wow! I give Black Diamond Auto Transport All Thumbs Up! We couldn't have been rescued by a more caring, kind and professional young man. I say rescued due to our breaking down on the freeway, loaded down with camping supplies and our pup badly overheated and aggravated in the back seat. This review is long overdue since this occurred June 29th, 2023. I am most certain it was Brandon that showed up. He was 100% filled with compassion while following all protocol to keep all involved safe. The first thing he did was get his passengers safely to his cab as cars were whizzing by. He adjusted quickly to ensure our pup was okay and keeping himself safe too. In no time we were all on our way home with a car and pup in tow too. What a personable young man with an appreciation for a sense of humor. We had at least 30 miles to get to our home and the time zipped by with great conversation. I was going to pick my child up from school and the tow truck driver was pulled in there entrance picking up a car from a neighboring business. After the director approached the driver and told him this was a private parking lot, he proceeded to yell obscenity and flip her off. This was so inappropriate outside a preschool, where at any moment children can see him. I would never recommend or allow this company my business. read more

I had my car towed on 7/19 after AAA contracted with Black Diamond. The driver did a good job towing my car to the dealership but AAA only covers 7 miles. I paid the difference and was told by the driver that he would send me a text and I could contact there office for a receipt which I need for insurance reimbursement. Four calls later and I'm being ghosted by the company. No call backs or contact from Black Diamond. Their customer service is non-existen. I cannot believe that AAA contracts with this company. read more

The worst! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Notified them at 10:30 am and it has been OVER 4 1/2 hours with zero communication!
