The shading was poorly done, went outside the lines, and lacked proper detail. Areas that were not supposed to be filled in were shaded, while important details were completely missed. During the tattoo, my cousin pointed out several mistakes and missing details. The artist responded by saying, "That's not my fault, what do you want me to do about it? As far as I'm concerned, it's done." When she returned for touch-ups and again showed the issues, he blamed their printer and stated it wasn't his problem. He ultimately refused to do any touch-ups at all. Another red flag was being required to pay before the tattoo was done, which we've never experienced at any reputable shop. My cousin paid $350 for a Jack and Sally tattoo, and her husband paid $400 for his. Given the quality of work and the unprofessional attitude, the prices were completely unjustified. I would give zero stars if that were an option. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else where artists stand behind their work, treat clients with respect, and deliver quality tattoos. What was promised versus what was delivered was drastically different.

They give good tattoos and would not like to be a copy machine of a tattooer unless specifically asked and if a tattoo from online will not translate to skin well, they will be honest BUT most likely will go about tweaking the tattoo to make it 10x better than you can imagine. I've been seeing everyone at Halcyon for a very long time and have never gotten a bad piece of art from any one there.

I called the shop on Friday, January 30th, to confirm whether they would be open Saturday morning due to the weather. The barber stated that he would be there at 9:00 a.m. I arrived at approximately 9:10 a.m.; however, he did not arrive until around 9:40 a.m. Upon arriving, he chose to spend additional time casually greeting and conversing with coworkers before acknowledging me. When he finally approached, I greeted him and asked whether I was the only customer at that moment. Since he only accepts walk-ins, this was a reasonable and appropriate question. His response was openly dismissive and disrespectful. He stated, "Don't start asking all them questions. I just got here. I'm too old for all that." Considering he was already significantly late, this response was completely unprofessional and unwarranted. It was a very humiliating experience. I replied "okay" and remained seated briefly.
