It's hard to enjoy a bargain when the person checking you out looks like they're trying to telepathically escape the building. If you're desperate for a low‑cost paperback and don't mind a little emotional turbulence, sure, stop by. My fiancé was able to leave with a handful of One Piece cards he'd been looking for and we picked up a Pokémon EX card as well. Other customers were looking through their bulk Pokémon cards so I didn't get a chance to myself, but it looked like they had a fair amount. The staff was super friendly and helped us find what we were looking for, but I will mention that there was virtually no reception in store so if there's something specific you're looking for have it pulled up on your phone before heading in. They make my boys feel like royalty there. The store gets busy sometimes but they still manage to greet everyone and help them all quickly! They are very fair with their trade-ins as well. My son is always trading his cards in, and I make sure he knows what their value is before we ever enter the store. They will make a fair offer and tell you straight-up "we need to allow a small margin for the store". In other words they're honest right up front and tel you why they value something how they do. A couple of locations came up on my Google search and I chose this one. I'm glad I did. Not only did I find a Rush album I had been looking for some time and was about to order it online, but I got it brand new and at a great price. I did go thru a lot of their used inventory and really felt they have a good selection of every music genre you can think of. Pricing was also fair across the board. I didn't see anything overpriced. I would've bought a few more albums but I have thousands of records and running out of space for them so these days I have to be more selective with what I buy. Oh, and they also have a good selection of CDs, Cassettes and even 8 Track tapes. Now the one area I will give constructive feedback is in there organization. Especially when it comes to their CDs and cassettes which are just laying in stacks and you really have to move things around to see everything. But it could be because they have such a large volume of inventory that they're out of space. Something I can get so I won't ding them for it. I will also compliment the gentleman that Rand me up. When he saw the album I was buying he told me a personal story on how he had gone to see Rush during that tour. I always appreciate when the folks behind the counter take interest in their clients enough to engage in a little conversation. That goes a long way in my book. Now the store itself pretty good selection of different pops and different types of pops and some harder to find ones to . But the prices there trying to scam you for example I looked up the price of a SpongeBob glow in the dark pop that the store has . On eBay it's going for $20 here they will charge you $150 so if you're gonna open up a new pop store make sure the prices are accurate. The staff here is pretty nice and helpful . They are still looking for staff to work here so either the rent here is not cheap or the owners are not that great . Overall hey it's better than nothing just the prices ..... need to be fixed . If ya want to survive more than a year and people coming back to your store .

Today my son and I wasted 2 hours of drive time from Austin and back because RCHQ didn't take the time to list a huge mini-z event on their website calendar. Event calendars are useless unless they are updated. Lesson, call first or just don't go... we won't be going again. Also, they now cater ONLY to Mini-z racers on the weekend, which means you won't be able to run your mini-b or mini-t RCs like you use to (except on bad off days like Monday and Tuesday which is BS). They also sell rock crawlers and bashers, but no real support or place to practice or run them etc. So you are better off buying online for those types of RCs as you'll get better deals. Also, next to no crawler or basher parts, even for the RCs they sell. We'll just buy our Arrma Kraton parts online and not waste our time at RCHQ. We were there to run our mini-b and buy new tires, LiPo battery, and telemetry sensor for jumps. Now we'll just buy those online. My son was so disappointed when we got there that he didn't want to watch the mini-z competition or buy anything from them. He said 'f-this place!' which was my exact sentiment. Lastly, the bald guy behind the counter disparaged the very same RC we bought from that store. They had no problem selling us the Mini-b... but then diss it when we brought it back in-store. Not the best idea to retain customers or sell upgrades. If I ran my business like this, I'd be out of business. Rolling Oaks Mall is practically a dead-mall at this point, so I'm expecting the niche products, poor offering, bad location, and rudeness (pretentiousness) will end this store soon. We were willing to drive out-of-our-way to spend our money at their store, but now we are not. I'd suspect my overall advice on this is just not to bother. Buy online, make your own track or use a parking lot, and just don't waste your time. No value in their current offering and mode.
