The piercing was so quick and surprisingly pain-free, despite being notorious for being one of the more painful. I believe this is down to the far superior jewellery, equipment and qualifications they have. The piercing was cleanly done and exactly where it was supposed to be, and there was no extremely tight clamp or pulling and pinching to put jewellery in. The piercing also hardly bled at all which is a pleasant change from the torrent of blood one usually experiences at a cheap location. The staff here are very professional and friendly, the shop is very calming and aesthetically pleasing and their selection of premium quality jewellery is beautiful. The staff were excellent, they listened and came up with a design I loved. At that point they then quoted a price - which was enormous! Almost 5 times what I had expected - and that was to use all the stones and gold I had provided. I know that the finished ring would have been spectacular but I wasnt prepared to pay that much. I went to another jeweller who is making the ring at a fraction of the cost and a similar design. They explained to me what elements I had wanted that would push the price up, and consulted on how to get the best value and final product. If village goldsmiths had down the same and consulted further I would have had them make it. So a great start, a great design but too costly and a missed opportunity to help me further and make the sale.
