Basically we had to get a survey done on our property because we were building a new home and didn't want to build into the property lines. So the city ordered us to get a property survey done. Pricing was $600 if no monument would be affected by the work and $2,000 if a new monument needed installation. For my project, a new monument was ultimately not needed.
