We have done business with Budi for 4 years ...She is extremely hard to deal with Rude and obnoxious. We had a puppy outside for 2hours and was charged 800 dollars which she charged on my credit card without my authorization. said that sll the carpets would need to be cleaned due to the dog----the carpets all needed to be cleaned before we got there. Very disappointed with the value and her attitude. We will never do business with that company again. read more

Do not do business with this agency, avoid them like the plague. Budi Cusser is very enethical and will not work with you when problems are found with one of her rental properties. My recommendation is to stick with VRBO or AirBNB. At least those agencies will work with you when issues are found regarding a rental. And, most if not all properties listed with Black Hills are on VRBO and Air BNB. Our rental had numerous problems, which we reported and were verbally told we would get a refund, only to get an E-Mail from Budi saying she wouldn't refund our money because we canceled. Not true. Ironically, the property (Hidden Haven) is no longer available thru Black Hills Adventure Lodgings or any other short term rental agency. Budi knew the property was substandard and was renting it anyway. I called the South Dakota state real-estate board and found out the property was not even licensed to rent. DO NOT WORK WITH BUDI KUSSER. First of all we noticed there were some issues regarding the cleanliness and safety of the house, we sent Budi an email on Monday about our concerns (we arrived at the house Saturday), she responded by basically blowing it off and telling us we were lying about our concerns. Some of our big issues were, a can of nicotine chew left out in the open, found by a 4 year old, there was feces left on the main level toilet from previous guests, there was dirty underwear left in the bedroom, old to-go boxes of food left in refrigerator, surfaces were sticky, no vacuuming was done and none of the inside locks worked. It was obvious that there was minimal to no cleaning done. We then sent Budi another email to follow up with her response about our concerns. She did not respond to us at all until we sent a third email to talk about a partial refund. She then was very rude in her response and said we should have moved to a different location if we were unhappy with our amenities. If you are looking to rent with Budi Kusser you will be screwed over. She is rude and slimy. read more

We stayed at The Old Fashioned for a family reunion.The property manager was a rude, nasty woman. The refrigerator and stove were not clean and the dishes in the cupboards were dirty. The price of the house was $$$$. Very disappointed, so we moved to a much better house down the street. read more

We made reservations for their cabin in Lead SD on September 10 for the dates OCT18-OCT 23. We also shared we had 1 dog and 3 cats as assistant support animals covered under the Fair Housing Act. https://www.in.gov/ihcda/files/Emotional_Support_Animal.pdf We paid an additional insurance fee to increase coverage to $3000. We made these reservations far in advance incase Budi refused the Emotional Support Animal FHA laws. We would have been fine. Her correspondence indicated she was OK with our animals. However on the day we are to check in she emails us her refusal to accept the animals. This left us with no option but to find lodging somewhere else. We want a full refund included the cleaning deposits. This person is unprofessional and borderlines on being unethical. We are demanding a full refund in the amount of $1,793.53 We reserve the right to file litigation for the violations that have occurred with the FHA laws. read more
