We liked the curtains so much we ordered more for the rest of the house, same design, same color. Unfortunately Hunter Douglas has a real quality control problem in regards to colors. The second batch did not come close to the same color as the first set. Gotcha Covered agreed with us and sent a bunch of pictures to Hunter Douglas. It was enough of a problem that a Q.A. person came out from Hunter Douglas to see what we were talking about. Her view was that it was a slight variation in color. HA. We ended up doing some creative positioning so the different colors were not in the same room. We had to totally change the color on one set, going with a red accent because there was no way things would match. My recommendation on this, get ALL the blinds of the same color at the same time because they will not be able to match it up. Gotcha Covered in the meantime did everything they could to help fix this. About a year later a small plastic piece broke on one of the curtains. I called Gotcha Covered and they came out the same day and took the curtain. They had it fixed and back inside of a week. I would recommend Gotcha Covered because they really took care of us.

Unfortunately, she decided on another color, so I took ownership of them and brought them back to my home in Rapid City, SD. The motor went bad last week, so I sought help from the manufacture, SOMFY, for a replacement motor. They do not sell direct, but indicated that my local dealer would be happy to assist. They absolutely refused to sell me a replacement motor because I did not buy them from her. I then phoned the dealer in MN who informed me that each Budge Blinds franchise is territory-protected and could not sell to me. Another call to Somfy US Headquarters and, fortunately, got the sale customer service rep who was astounded that the Rapid City location would not sell a replacement motor to me. He gave me two phone numbers, one is AZ and another in CO that would sell to me. The first call to AZ got what I needed. Consequently, this local Budget Blinds business will never see a dime from me, or from my attorney daughter's new home in MN. What a ridiculous sales policy to pursue in treating a potential customer. Live and learn, and do business where you are treated as you should be.

I have previously done business with Superior and was satisfied with their work so I signed up for…read moretheir gutter cleaning service. Unfortunately this was not a positive experience and ended with a somewhat threatening call from the owner. Two guys showed up to clean the gutters and were here for less than 15 minutes. After they left I quickly inspected a section of the gutters and found that the downspouts were not cleaned at all and there was still dirt and leaves in the gutter. I took some photos and contacted Superior to dispute the invoice as the work was not completed correctly. The person I spoke with saw my pictures, agreed the work was substandard and offered to send their employees back out. I didn't want them back on my roof, potentially upset about being called out for sub par work so I refused and said I didn't want to pay the invoice. The office employee said they would have someone call me to discuss further. After three weeks with no response I called again and was told I would receive a call. Two weeks later the owner called me saying he has pictures showing the work was completed correctly and that they do not clean downspouts. He said he wasn't going to discuss the issue any further and if I refused to pay the invoice he would send it to collections. With no recourse outside of litigation, which would be costly and unjustified over a $100 invoice, I reluctantly paid it. I have video footage from my security cameras to prove my claims as well as a couple of pictures following the job. I want others to be aware of my terrible experience and to be careful if you choose to do business with this company. After speaking with others who have done business with this company and reading other's reviews, intimidation seems to be a common tactic along with substandard work. I will no longer be doing business with Superior and caution others to do so at your own risk.
