I was a loyal patient here for over eight years and trusted them with my care--until a routine…read moreBotox appointment led to visible facial changes, including dimpling and suspected fat loss. A medication was used that, according to their own words, "can cause fat atrophy," yet they never clearly stated they had given it. Instead, they vaguely implied it was somehow my responsibility and referred me to a dermatologist, pushing the issue elsewhere and costing me another unnecessary office visit. They also charged me for filler in an attempt to correct the damage, which later had to be dissolved due to bruising and concern it could enter a vascular space. No refund. No real resolution. No ownership. This situation has cost me over $4,000, not to mention the emotional toll. I canceled my engagement photos and may postpone my wedding because I don't feel confident in my own skin. What started as a simple appointment turned into months of stress and insecurity. I eventually switched clinicians and am incredibly grateful to Kristen at Longevity. She stepped in to help correct a problem that wasn't hers, and I'm finally seeing improvement after five long, painful months. Her expertise and compassion have made a world of difference. I have before and after photos that clearly show the changes to my skin and face--along with the emotional impact it's had on my self-esteem. This wasn't just a cosmetic mishap. It was a deeply damaging experience, both physically and emotionally. I would never recommend this clinic.

I have gone to this office for procedural advice, surgery, facials, dermabrasion and have found…read morethem to be exquisitely personable. I am moved to detail this out because I see a negative review on here that does not depict my personal experience. I have had an extended tummy tuck, breast lift and a thighplasty after massive weight loss. I paid for it myself - as in no insurance covers that - and the different surgical procedures were done with exceptional care and months apart. I would definitely go again if I actually needed any more done. I cannot state more deeply that the surgeon and care were far above standard and when it made sense to choose surgical options versus cool fat freezing techniques / they were honest about my potential outcome. They are board certified and conscientious. Maybe they don't have fantastic social skills or make jokes, but honestly after months of getting their care, I'm glad they are serious and straightforward and skilled. I don't need a comedian or entertainer. The results were astonishing and you should seek multiple opinions. You will find these folks to be priced reasonably, empathetic, ethical and talented. Extraordinary. I recommend them highly. Dr Schutz and his staff made me feel like my body belonged to me again. Do your homework and choose a highly educated board certified surgeon.

IN SHORT: Poor & dishonest communication about appointments and procedures. Billing department…read morepretends to be kind, but does not listen or attempt to resolve issues. Saw Dr.Johnson & PA Jennifer Johnson, they were ok. IN LONG: I called to schedule an annual preventive well check & biometric screening (encouraged & 100% paid for by employee insurance). Front desk staff took my info, set up appointment THEN told me it would be just to meet the doctor. At the appt nurse verbally asked medical history questions & general health questions. Talked with Dr.J. He renewed an ongoing prescription. Then I was allowed to make appt for annual preventive exam. For the first "meet the doctor" I was billed about $370 (ins. adjusted to $250ish) for a level 4 appt. Called RCMC billing office about this, explained, and they said all they could do was "resubmit it to coding." Called me back two days later to say nothing changed. While I felt misled, I also didn't see any other recourse I could take, so paid the bill. When I went in for bloodwork two weeks later, I specifically asked that only preventive be done, only tests that I would not receive a charge for, 100% paid by insurance. I even had a list of what I knew would be included and even though they were doing more than was on the list, the receptionist assured me that yes all the ordered bloodtests were preventive. At the annual exam I was asked questions that I thought would turn the exam into an "office visit" so respectfully abstained from answering and once again stated I only wanted preventive. Over a month later, I was billed almost $200 for bloodtests done that were not actually preventive (ins. adjusted to $44). Spent well over an hour on the phone with RCMC billing & my insurance company. RCMC billing office pretended to be kind, but either were not listening to what went down or don't care that they're being deceptive & dishonest. The people (including a supervisor) at billing I talked to just kept insisting it was all billed as preventive (my insurance company said and I agree that most of the tests were not actually preventive), the test were done so there's nothing they can do, and the final "we'll resubmit it to coding and call you back." I'm thinking this is their go-to statement just to get customers off the phone because in this case it was not an issue of coding, it was an issue of honoring your word. They did tests on me that I specifically requested not be done and was reassured would not be.
