Minus one star because they told us where to park and take the trolley, the thing is when we found the parking lot they sent us we had to walk two long blocks in the heat only to find that during that week the trolley wasn't running due to road repairs downtown so we had to walk back and we ventured into downtown and were lucky to find a place to park a couple of short blocks away from the Memorial. Trolley people should have notified them of the changes Other than that they are well informed and tried hard to make sure we got what we wanted

Pulled up and the sites were easy to find. For only $15 a night you get water and electric and there are 8 spots. By the end of the night every spot was taken. We loved our sight. Lake views from the back and plenty of space for our boys to run around. There are two ok-ish playgrounds. There is a swim beach but...I saw snacks in the reeds so go in at your own risk. Right off the campsite is the trailhead to a pretty hard mountain bike trail that goes all the way around the lake. If you don't mountain bike it is also open to hikers. The trail and park are well maintained and we were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed out time here.

It had a concrete pad, electricity and water, a picnic table and fire ring. The space is very large with grass and a large tree. We enjoyed our stay and would go back. All of the Oklahoma state parks we stayed at were clean and well maintained.

As far as lake swim beaches go, this park has the best one I have been to yet. All I can address is Sunset beach, as it is the only place in the park we visited. There are 5 cabanas on the beach that you can rent. However, if you don't want to pay to rent the cabana there are plenty of shade trees to set up under. So bring that hammock and relax! The beach is undead a sandy beach and it is safe to walk barefoot on as there is not any glass. Yay! We had a kayak and were able to use it right off the beach area. If you're in the city and need a place to go on the weekend you should check it out. Just remember, although a sand beach this is not Florida, this is Oklahoma. For Oklahoma this is a nice beach area
