Came in for what we thought was going to be a late breakfast/brunch around 11:45 on a Friday with my girlfriend. Turns out they open at 9 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and quit serving breakfast at 11:30. D'oh, I misread the website hours and thought they didn't open until 11:30 so we hung around for 45 minutes before running over so as not to arrive before the restaurant opened. We walked in the door and the hostess seated us immediately with menus. I asked about breakfast but the server explained that they opened at 9 and stopped serving breakfast at 11:30. So we had lunch, I ordered a Hawaiian pizza and my girlfriend ordered a hamburger that came with pastrami and a fried egg. That thing was a monster. Pictures don't do it justice. It was a huge stack of protein, burger patty, stack of pastrami, covered by a fried egg and topped with a brioche bun. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion of course as well. My pizza was delicious and her burger was awesome. I couldn't help but take a bite. We both ate half of our meals and were stuffed. So we took the other halves back to our room as leftovers. Great location right on the river, our table looked out over the channel to the pirates den launch ramp. Prices were reasonable and the food portions were generous. We will probably return the next time we're in parker. read more

Went here on a Friday night. Got the filet steak and scampi special. Came with a salad which we split. They brought two salads as a nice jester. Everything pretty good but that filet was a top Sirloin at best. Had a bottle of pinot noir. Service was good but got super crowded so server got side tracked. Probably best restaurant in the area. read more

Our experience from start to finish was top notch! We were greeted right away when we walked in and offered seating inside our out. Still a bit of chill to the air so we opted for a window seat inside. Our server came shortly after we were seated and took our order, she was very friendly and welcoming with a genuine smile. The Bloody Mary's were good, could have used a bit more of a bite but that's personal preference! We ordered the Pirates Breakfast Log and Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs. Both came out quickly and were piping hot. The Pirates Log is absolutely loaded with meat and super filling. At first I thought the potato wedges were "fast foody" but they were thick and cooked perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside with a nice seasoning. The chicken fried steak was huge!! It was two steaks smothered in the most amazing gravy I've ever had along with over easy eggs done right and buttery crispy hashbrowns. Service and food were spot on and we'll definitely return when in the area. Would love to try some of their dinner choices, they look delicious! read more

This place is a hidden gem nestled on the banks of the Colorado river inside the Pirates Den RV park. The first night we just had drinks and pizza in the bar - the pizza was excellent and the staff was great even though it was busy. The next night, we came in with a group of 30 that turned into 40 - no problem, the staff once again was excellent and accomodating. Our table split a seafood platter and a plate of ribs - all really good. I wish I could remember names, but our waitress and one other waiter were beyond great - so friendly. They had a couple playing live music and everyone in our group had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for taking care of such a large (and rowdy) group on short notice! Highly recommend if you're in the area - we'll most definitely be back the next time we're in town! read more

Service was friendly and we were seated quickly. The mebue is sort of annoying, each items description is a paragraph long with, on the pirate ship, humor. Kind of just want to order my food. Lots of stuff on the menue, it was a little too california style for my taste but a few of items not in that style. The order was taken in a good time frame but took a while to get there, the patio was packed so I assume the delay was due to the number of guests. When the food came out it was exceptional and ran about $25 a person. All in all it was pretty good and worth stopping in. read more

Oh my gosh, I've been here twice and both times the food was delicious! I ordered the Wild West burger (bbq burger) I didn't read the full description and had no idea that there is pulled pork on it... I'm not a huge pulled pork fan so I probably would have had them not put it on.. and honestly I'm glad I didn't see it.. it was very good! I also got the sweet potato fries it had a little bit of cinnamon and brown sugar on them... also a really good choice. I wasn't sure what to expect but I wasn't disappointed by either! Anna was a fabulous waitress-sweet, kind, and friendly. The food - pizza, burgers, salads and drinks were all great. Wonderful patio. 5 stars despite Zeb (Zev). When we arrived, the table we wanted needed to be cleared. Our waitress asked us to wait and somebody would clear it ...so we stood there and waited. After about 10 minutes Zeb (Zev) came out and started to clear the table. I thanked him and told him that we were waiting for the table. He partially cleared it and then left it, and just walked by us several times. Finally, we finish clearing the table ourselves and took a napkin from another table and wiped down our table. We had not been to the Black Pearl for a while because the service was so poor. Thought we would try again. The waiter took our order but got most of it wrong. It took forever just to get eggs and when we got it they were cold. He never came back around to see if we needed anything, would have liked a refill of my tea and water but he was nowhere to be found. My plate had what looked like dog hair stuck to it. With all the animals inside the place had a smell and looked dark and dirty. For the price of the meal sure would like better service and cleaner atmosphere. Can't wait for the other restaurant to open or maybe have to visit the floating ones next time. Probably wont be back there again for a while. Nothing seems to have changed. read more

Delicious food!! Amazing Fish & Ships!! The batter on the fish was made in house. Same batter was used for the onion rings, so crispy and perfectly golden brown. The Poseiden Burger was the best!! Great customer service and the owner is an awesome dude who works hard to provide the best atmosphere and service!! One of the best dine-in experiences I've had in a very long time. We stopped by on a Sunday and there was a one hour wait for a table. We skipped that meal but came back a few days later. The Pearl is a pricey but popular tourist place with a pleasant staff and great views of the river. I had the Porkenstein, a sandwich with bacon jam, bacon, capicola, and pulled pork. They do their Fish and Ships special on Thursday. They will bring you out as much fish as you can eat. The time we went, it was packed but we still got a table within 10 minutes. The place was really loud, but we knew that due to boat races being held that weekend d. The waitress did a great job. We both got side salads instead of the ships (chips/fries). Unfortunately the fish was really soft and soggy, like it had bee thawed and refrozen. The batter on the outside was crispy. The Cadillac margaritas lacked the tequila. This 4 stars. I love theme restaurants the scenery and the decor is very inviting and very pirate friendly you get a fun feeling right when you walk in the door. Was greeted by a very friendly hostess with the mostest as well as our server, and all the other employees that we had interactions with. Started off with some wonderful calamari I had pastrami that was wonderful my mother-in-law had the patty milk that tasted like it was made from very expensive ground beef just fabulous and even Grandma's grilled cheese was extremely tasty. This place is truly a gem on the river. My husband and I are sad that we don't live nearby to go here all the time! We came last night for dinner, got the western burger and the tri tip sandwich made Philly style. Best burger hands down, husband said it's the best tri tip he's ever had. We came this morning and tried breakfast. I got the chicken fried steak - best I've ever had. Not your traditional sausage breakfast gravy, but full of flavor and to die for. The salsa is full of flavor and a must if your a salsa with breakfast type of person. Husband got the "breakfast log" and that was delicious too. Stingy sized portions starting with the fish tacos you can literally put all 3 of those fish in one taco, cheapest thing I've ever seen a restaurant do in my life. Do yourselves a favor and go to road runners for there fish tacos same price more food and tastes better. This place already has the hype so the quality is slowly degrading from what I've noticed. They will also seat you down when it's crowded and don't be surprised if it's dinner time and your waiting 90 mins and all they do is come check in to see if your still there and not going to leave. We found this sweet spot in Parker while staying at a nearby State Park last spring. Recommended by a fellow camper we thought we would give it a try and enjoy a cold beer while staying cool on the river. Serving their own brews as well as guest taps, they have a large menu that seems to have something for everyone. The Fish and Chips was large enough to share, with a side of coleslaw, but don't forget to ask for extra tarter sauce. The river is much quieter this time of year, so different from spring break! Very disappointing. Went there to have a dinner and was turned away because they were "closed", yet the hours say open until 9 and we were there at 745. Lady stated they closed at 8 and still refused to serve us even though it was not 8, and there were people still dinning in the restaurant. We came in for breakfast all six of us. The waitress was really sweet and she served us plenty of bloody Mary's in good breakfast. It's a great place to get away out of the sun and into some air conditioning for some cold drinks. The breakfast was really good I had to Denver omelette and it was delicious. They give you full pictures of water and fall pictures of iced tea here. The food was hot and the portions were pretty big. This is a good place to get your breakfast crowd van. read more

We were jonesing for fish and chips, so we decided to try here. We arrived at 4:30 and found all the tables empty. The sign at the entrance said "wait here," but nobody came. Everybody was in the kitchen, so I had to walk down the hall and wave at them to get their attention. After that, the service was more or less prompt, and the kitchen was quick. The four large cod fingers were excellently done and quite tasty. The fries were plentiful and adequate. The small cup of coleslaw was sweet and creamy. I feel like the price was a bit stiff for what we had, but I can't complain about the quality of the food. read more

My wife and I just left this establishment without having dinner. Got seated quickly at roughly 6:40 and sat at our table for 20 minutes with NOBODY even acknowledging we were there. It was like we were invisible. We're staying at the RV resort, which we like, but wholly crap, nothing like being ignored when waiting to place an order for dinner. BTW, we did eat here for lunch earlier today and besides waiting 10 minutes for a table, food and beer was good. Although the server was sweet the hostess was horrible to me and my friends. We may be younger than the average customer but we were treated like children, as though we were a bother to her. Regardless we are paying customers who came in with a good attitude. We arrived there on a Tuesday when all the wait staff but one waiter had called off. They were upfront with us that service might be slow. They were wrong about that. The waiter was excellent we waited for nothing. So why 4 stars you're wondering. Well, the menu is somewhat limited for someone who is gluten sensitive. They do have gluten free pizza but it's pretty pricey for the size. The mozzarella must be part skim because it lacks flavor. I was grateful to find something I could actually eat without worry though. We would go again and maybe I'd try a burger without the bun. My husband said his burger was excellent.
