Before I begin the story, I…read morewould like you to be aware that my husband and I had made a $500 down payment 3 months prior to our shoot. With this being said, Jerusha had more than enough time to prepare for the shoot. To begin with, Jerusha was incredibly unorganized prior to, during, and after my daughter's session. I myself had to reach out to Jerusha to see the time and place that we were to meet up the DAY BEFORE the shoot. On the following day, Jerusha arrived 30 minutes late to the shoot. During and after the shoot, Jerusha had judged my daughter's choice of clothing multiple times. With this being said, Jerusha had never helped with clothing choices nor did she ask what my daughter was wearing until the DAY BEFORE her shoot. I had also booked a sunset shoot for my daughter which Jerusha was once again unorganized for by giving us an arrival time which was too early. She even had the nerve to ask if we wanted to leave before sunset although that's what I had booked and paid for. On another note, my daughter and I had some issues with Jerusha once our photos arrived MUCH LATER than what was listed in her contract that she's so adamant about not breaking, my daughter had made it clear to Jerusha that she needed several pictures in her white dress for her schools yearbook. Jerusha only gave her two photos of her wearing it. When I called to try and resolve the issue, Jerusha became incredibly snotty. We were accused of "wanting everything for free" simply because I wanted her to remove some other pictures of my daughter so that she could have more options of her in the white dress. Jerusha claimed that she "already went above and beyond" because she gave my daughter a few blacks and white edits for free. Remember, she was late for the shoot, late to return my daughter's pictures, judgmental, and also did not read my daughter questionnaire. This doesn't sound very "above and beyond" to me. In fact, she requested access to it the DAY OF THE SHOOT, an hour before. We ended up getting our pictures of my daughter in her white dress after lots of arguing and complaining from Jerusha because she had to edit ONE picture. Me and my daughter have agreed that our experience with Jerusha was terrible and that future possible customers should be aware of this as well. Once again, I have received an incredibly rude response. The questionnaire was not opened in March nor did you arrive one time(I myself have screenshots of the text message you sent regarding the time you were going to arrive). I do not see how returning the photos that we had paid for over a week late is considered going "above and beyond," nor do I understand how it is considered rude to stick up for myself and my daughter when the quality of our photos was horrific. Regarding the sunset shoot, yes you and I both know that I booked the 1.5 hour shoot. You were the one that suggested the arrival and end time, even though you knew what we had booked. That is disorganization. Reaching out a day before the shoot to figure out what my daughter was wearing was in absolutely no way helpful. To regard the white dress, my daughter had spent 45 minutes in it. Why was there only one photo that turned out? And why did I receive a rude reply when I asked for some photos to be switched out in order for my daughter to have her desired photos? Overall, the issue was Jerusha and her poor photography skills. Never in my life have I been treated with the utmost disrespect. Regarding my behavior, I guess that sticking up for oneself and trying to get their money's worth is disrespectful.
