I'm writing this as a review of a recent experience we had with Maria Lyle Photography. I was in a hurry to find a photographer that could provide us with international passport pictures quickly. Maria was very quick to return my phone call, within minutes actually, and she was able to make an appointment for me that same day. Maria offered us excellent directions to her studio, which I would recommend you take her up on, as the studio is a little tucked away.  Maria is extremely personable and even for a passport picture she wants you to look your best. Maria took her time selecting perfect lighting, and she let me pick from several pictures the one I liked best. More than this, I had mentioned my own interest in photography for a side business my husband and I are interested in starting and Maria spent a very reasonable amount of time discussing with us the different kinds of camera's, lenses and lighting needed for different types of shots, we left feeling excited and as if we had just made a new friend.  After seeing Maria's work in her studio, I would highly recommend her for all family and commercial photographic projects. read more

A wonderful family photography experience! We arrive at Maria Lyle Photography with our cat who was a little nervous. Maria made sure to put her at ease and let her wander all over the studio off leash. This allowed the cat's nerves to calm before the photo shoot. She also tested the flash with the cat during the wandering period so the cat got used to it. Maria's attention to detail was brilliant! She applied some makeup to us (even the men) to get us photo ready! The studio was set up for a Christmas shoot with a Christmas tree and presents set up in front of a curtain. During the shoot Maria recommended a variety of poses and adjustments to make the pictures come out better. She even offered Christmas props including Santa hats! We stayed in the studio for about 2 hours taking a multitude of pictures in different outfits. Then we left for the beach. Maria knew of a beach access that was normally empty. We took several photos on the beach at sunset and Maria was not afraid to get in the sand or wet to achieve the best picture! The experience was phenomenal and I especially loved the way she made our cat feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Maria Lyle for anyone looking for a photographer especially my friends with cats! read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Maria recently at Planet Philantrophy's annual conference held at the Boca Raton resort. She was the official photographer for the event, going from room to room photographing the myriad of speakers/audience as well as covering the Trade Show, luncheons and keynote speakers. We talked about her style, the cameras she used and lighting effects. She had a booth set up at the trade show and I was impressed with the range of work she does. Her favorite gig is doing medical photography and she has a huge list of clients in the medical field. She also has some beautiful photos in her 'travel' section.
