Just wants to start changing things without a deep dive - so you'll end up changing a bunch of items with them. Customer service was obviously terrible too. Don't go here

They seem like decent guys to joke around with (trying to be fair here). But what I experienced was anything but professional. It would take pages to document this past weeks experiences with ABC. It feels like it's been much longer than that. They wasted way a large amount of my time and money as a result of incompetence. Whether it was completely forgetting about my tow, or charging me for new parts that he GAVE back to me so that I could INSTALL THEM MYSELF because he didn't HAVE TIME, or telling me he'd be there at 4:30pm to check me out but he then leaves to go home early for the day, or telling me he didn't get around to the oil change I asked for because he didn't have time! (which is odd because he went home early!!!) OR MAYBE it was just the fact that the whole reason for the tow was because the fuel pump was going, and he didn't touch anything besides the brakes! Throughout this entire process, I made an in-person appointment, 2 weeks out. I then went back in 2 days prior to the tow to confirm (shouldn't even be necessary on my part). When i finally got ahold of them over an hour after my scheduled pick up time, they begrudgingly came to pick me up, and then proceeded to tell me that they aren't going to even work on it for a few days because they have certain customers that are a priority. WHY DID I WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR AN APPOINTMENT THEN??? None of it makes sense. Honestly, they truly seem like decent individuals. BUT this was the most unprofessional spot I've been to since moving to Maine. 2/10

On Thursday, October 26, 2023, I was traveling down Rte 95, in the middle lane, going about 75mph. Suddenly a car in the fast lane ahead of me, swerved into the middle lane, only to reveal a deer crossing the road. I hit the deer square on! I got to the side of the road, police came, I was brought home (unhurt, my Volvo saved me). I called R Stewart, where my car was towed, to find out what I needed to do next. They connected my call to Dickie Stewart, who offered to call all the reputable body shops in the area, as well as Volvo in South Portland, to see the best and fast place to have my car repaired. I had never been in a situation like this and Dickie quickly took the situation out of my hands and handled it. I never expected a towing company to treat me this way and his kindness touched my heart. Within the hour, my car was towed to a reputable body shop.
