We seen a Facebook post through friends of ours and we are so glad we booked them. Our Baby just turned 9 months and we realized we did not have professional pictures. With a market that is saturated with so many photographers we really had to just shoot in the dark. Our family is so happy with the whole process. We called Tony a day before and got a 3:30 spot the next day. We met at balboa park and hit it off immediately. Tony and Maria made my family feel comfortable and relaxed in minutes and then Tony took us to spots that would be not a typical "Commercial and Unnatural for our baby. we booked a 30 minute spot and they took much more shots then we expected. Tony made the shoot super fun and super easy. He had a plan for my family and I and he executed it perfectly. He made us feel comfortable and helped get a genuine smile out of us by cracking jokes before taking the picture which really added to the quality of the photos. So high five if you get through it ;) I only write reviews when they are truly worth it. All I am trying to do is explain how incredible Black Rider Studios is. My now husband and I interviewed photographers to take care of our wedding photos a few months ago. None of them seemed as warm and interested as Tony and Maria. From the moment we said hello to them we knew we were off to a good start. The first time I saw their work was through a friends instagram page. The photo caught me off guard an I instantly needed to know who was responsible for such exquisite photography. Not only do they have an original vintage/rebel taste, but they will work with your ideas and envision what you are looking for. Maria is a real doll, she makes you feel comfortable and her genuine personality mixed with her good eye for details is wonderful.. She did an absolutely amazing job with me. I am not a photogenic person at all so I was very nervous, but I have to say that she is truly an artist!!! Tony will do anything to make sure you are happy with your photos . He is very passionate about his work and has fun with it. Black rider studios was holding a contest on their Facebook page, the 300th like gets a free photo shoot. So I got friends to like it and got it to 299 and I added the 300th like and won! So me and my girlfriend decided to do a couple shoot in Escondido around some train track's. So Tony did the photo shoot with his wife.
