On the day of my original review post, I received a call from Mark. He hadn't seen my review, he was calling to follow up, asking if I've had my trees removed yet. we talked a bit with my explaining that we were still waiting for the updated/correct draft/estimate of the full work we wanted done. He said he'd come by, look at my property again and work on getting the estimate completed (I was hopeful); however, shortly after my conversation with Mark (same day), Karen called me, told me she read my review and didn't like it (imagine that) and asked what could be done to get it removed. There was no apology, nor any suggestions or offers on how to correct things! I told her we'd have to wait and see what Mark comes up with. a week later, on July 22, Mark calls me to say that he's come up with a plan that he thinks covers everything I wanted and will have it sent to me...still nothing, so I called Mark on July 28, left a voicemail asking about status. Here it is August 10th (2 months since initial visit) and all we have seen is the company doing work on a neighbor's home, the past week.

It's now late in the season, and I'm scrambling to find other companies that still have wood. Weeks of wasted time and effort. Completely unreliable and dishonest. The competitor tried to win my business back by claiming my insurance company called him. I called my insurance company and they said they had no record of the call and I hadn't even given a list of potential providers to them so they had no way of knowing who was in the area. I called the competitor and asked him to give me the name of who he spoke with at my insurance company. The competitor never returned my phone call. Needless to say it became even more apparent that Tim from Atomic and his team were the right choice and I couldn't be happier with their service. We have used Dan for several tree jobs over the years. He is a true professional. Most recently he…read moretook down five trees within striking distance of our house and cut them up for firewood. I left for work in the morning and when I got home the trees were gone and there was a stack of firewood in the back yard. The yard was cleaner than before he did the work! Last year we had him clear a whole section of trees and stumps (about a quarter acre) to make room for more lawn and bring some more light in. It only took him two days! And what a difference it makes in both the yard and the house...so much more light. Also last year we had HUGE pine tree up-root and come down during high winds. Man were we glad that it didn't fall towards the house. I called Dan again and he took care of it. I would recommend Dan for anything tree-related weather it's big or small.
