This was such a good coffee shop to study in because it was not busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. I got the iced chai latte. Well, it was called "chai tea latte" on the menu, but that's redundant. It was sweeter than I'm used to for chai lattes and less cinnamon-y, but it was good. I got the smaller size for $5.57. My friend got the iced caramel blondie, and she requested it to be less sweet. We both still thought it was really sweet, but it was very good. Like a dessert. They have outlets right next to the tables, and the wifi worked well for us. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. To the couple on a first date at this coffee shop, you probably noticed two girls looking at you. We thought it was hilarious that this was a first date spot because it did not seem like a great place for that, especially when you stood outside afterwards in perfect view of patrons right in front of the cafe, but we wish you the best. read more

This location is conveniently located next to a Goodwill. I love to grab a Mexican mocha through the drive thru and do a little browsing next door. The inside isn't big but you can definitely snag a place to sit for a bit. It's always clean and workers are friendly. read more

This is now my favorite coffee place in Austin! I heard great things and they all proved to be true! I came here with my bestie and we were big fans. I got the Caramel Blonde blended and she got the iced Mexican Mocha. Both drinks were delicious and perfectly made. I am going to bring my husband here next weekend. Today was my second visit to this coffee bar and it didn't disappoint! Nelly, the cashier in the drive through was the best! Friendly, polite and professional. This was first time to this coffee shop and location. Overall, it's clean, new and shiny. The iced coffee didn't have enough ice in it, but the flavor packed a punch. I had the jackhammer. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was good. Although the drive thru went fairly swiftly I was taken aback when handed a iPad to "sign here" for checking out? What?! Starbucks doesn't even want to take and touch my credit card with Covid paranoia... this place handed me their iPad because they asked for a TIP!!! A tip for handing me my purchase thorough a window?? Ummm---off putting. I wasn't in your store, making a mess at a table, etc. and the coffee was already close to $6! I'll go elsewhere for my coffee and "if" I feel compelled to "tip", than I'd expect "above and beyond" services, not tipping (or feeling pressured to) simply because I patron your venue. Excited to try this new little place! Meeting up some close friends and it's right by her house so we picked this coffee shop. It's a bit hidden. Google maps kept telling me to circle back out to 620. A bit frustrating. Hope they fix that. But once they told me it's between Firestone n Goodwill I knew to turn in there. I knew I was gonna get their matcha. That's usually my go to at all coffee shops. My friend paid for us and they got a matcha hot and iced and another person, an Americano. I always get blended but for sake of time got what they recommended, iced. I order mine with almond or soy but I think this time they heard my friend say coconut milk so I tasted that in my drink lol which is fine. Each drink of ours was near $5. The girl telling our order was super friendly. We got our drinks and sat down to talk. I love how cute n quaint this place is and that it's half outside with lots of outside patio seating. My wife and I had huge expectations for this place and it was a big swing and a miss. The decor is really cool but the appeal stops there. We approached the front counter and waited for someone to acknowledge us, and waited, awkwardly. There were three employees, two preparing an order for the drive thru and one stocking shelves. None of them looked our way or greeted us. When someone finally did approach the counter to take our order she asked if we were reward members to which my wife said no. She didn't ask if we wanted to join or if it was our first time. I guess they don't care. My wife ordered their signature drink iced which she said was pretty weak and still warm. Black Rock is a franchise coffee concept that lands somewhere in the neighborhood of Starbucks/Summermoon but a notch below the "fifth wave" high-end local shops like Mi Mundo or Lamppost. I am a big fan of this shop because the employees are always very friendly and very fast. Tyson the dog says that they make a mean Puppaccino, and that the black rock one includes yummy treats. With fast service, good drinks, a convenient location, and really nice employees, this is a shop that is a worthy alternative to Starbucks. read more

This is the best run coffee in North Austin/Round Rock. Bar none. The coffee is super good and has a ton of caffeine. Their blended drinks are outstanding. Additionally the staff here is so quick and efficient that you literally will not wait in line or in the drive thru for a very long time. They are also very friendly. If you have a dog in the drive thru they proactively offer a pup cup. You don't have to ask. Lastly I will say that lobby is clean and super modern.
