Was introduced to Nearby Coffee bright red mobile van today. Super friendly and talented barista, David...and just look at my coffee! Loved watching him craft it, and the smell of the freshly ground beans was intense and rich. So glad to have "met" ya'll. Best wishes for continued success.

Wow now this place is hard to find. But please don't let that stop you from coming. There are signs that help you find Nearby Coffee and it is conveniently located next to Compadre Brewing. And if you are in the area and decide to give this place a shot, you will not be disappointed. Their staff was super friendly. I ordered a Vanilla Latte and it had the perfect sweetness without being overly too sweet. The only issue that I may have with Nearby Coffee is that the space is very small. Its not really place to get work done since they only have a few indoor tables/chairs and benches outside. But if you're looking for that perfect cup of coffee and live in the Round Rock/Pflugerville area, I highly suggest making a trip to at least check out Nearby Coffee. That way you can determine if it is worth it for you or not. For me, I have definitely added it to the list of coffee places that I love and will be back very soon.

Best coffee in town. Roasted on-site made fresh! Must go for good company, lovely staff, amazing quality. What else can be said?

Great owners, coffee, and food! I got the Horchata Latte and my wife got an Iced Vanilla Latte. Both turned out great. We also tried some quiches - Ham & Cheese and Sausage and Bell Pepper. Those were good too!

I just heard about Nearby Coffee Co and decided to try them this morning. When I first heard about them I was reluctant to try them because I've been loving Dazzle's coffee but after seeing the picture of the poached egg and muffin I had to try them. The mocha was absolutely amazing and made with love. I also got the muffin w/ poached egg and smoked salmon and it was phenomenal!! This will be my new favorite place to go to for coffee/breakfast!

I've been to all the coffee places - radio, summer moon, coffee & crisp, houndstooth, lorraine, etc. and I gotta say, Nearby might be a new favorite. We had a hot mocha and a cold lavender latte (with real lavender) and both were rich, full of flavor and not too sweet. We don't come to Round Rock often, but that might need to change so we're nearby... Nearby Coffee!

Got to try some of their coffee from their mobile service at work. The Latte I had was excellent and the barista/owner was very courteous and friendly. It was a great set up out of a van and a perfect way to try something new! Will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area of the brick and mortar store. Thank you for coming to #Enterprise and thank you to #CaliberGlass for arranging it!

This is the go to coffee hot spot in the local neighborhood. Nearby was frequented by several locals, who many were on a first name basis with the owner/barista. These folks know their coffee. I asked what their recommendation for pour overs were for people like me that likes medium roast, full bodied (Colombian) coffee, and she immediately pointed me toward their 360 blend which was a blend of Colombian and Guatemalan beans. She also contrasted it with a distinctly lighter blend, their Congo, which she absolutely loves when feeling adventurous. However she was saying that the mandarin orange and tamarillo notes were probably not what I was looking for. Turned out that she was spot on. I got the 360 blend pour over, and the bakers chocolate and nutmeg paired well with the marmalade after taste. Some great notes in there, although wasn't sure if I detected the marzipan. Really good, and so I bought a bag of 360 Blend whole beans to take home. My wife also loved the lavender latte - very smooth without being overly sweet. I tried some and am in total agreement. I loved the sweet waffles and so glad that I added the Nutella as an add on. I think I would also throw in some fruits/berries to get more of a depth of flavors next time. My wife had the ham and cheese quiche. Liked these to an extent, but really what stands out is the level of their coffee. I'm so glad that they really major on quality of their coffee. The barista was telling us about a new blend that they're coming out with soon, and that was great to just talk cofffee. I loved the earthy and modern vibe of this place. I think it's a good no nonsense coffee place that is trendy without feeling overly pretentious. The barista took some time to make some conversation even while she was being hit by online or to go orders, and that was so appreciated how she genuinely spoke to us. If I were a Round Rockian (is that what they call residents?) I'm sure I would be at Nearby Coffee a lot... or just nearby.

I was really excited to try this place since I had seen a lot of good reviews on FB, however I was pretty disappointed! I arrived right before 11 am and there weren't any customers there, but the girl working (Rachel) seemed like I was inconveniencing her by coming in (they close at 2 pm). She asked what I wanted and I told her I didn't know since it was my first time there and she literally just stared at the counter! She didn't offer suggestions or explain what they had, she just really seemed irritated! I asked a few questions and received 1 word answers with no other help so I just ordered an Iced Horchata latte and a Caramel Latte. Both of which tasted off, like something used in both may have been spoiled! The caramel latte barely tasted like caramel and the horchata latte was really gritty (pic attached). I also ordered 2 of the quiches and they were ok, but we're kinda hard. I have never thrown away coffee, but my husband and I just couldn't finish these! If the coffee had been good I would have given this place another try despite the bad customer service, but I think I'll stick with Dazzle or another local coffee place!

This location is no longer a running coffee shop but rather a storage room for the roaster.

In addition, I do not have a Haraz Coffee House near me, so when I am near one of their locations, I make it a point to pop in. I love Haraz. I love the ambience. I love the coffee. I love the pastry selection. I love the service. The consistency I've experienced from location to location is top-notch. The cleanliness here is impeccable, too. That bears mentioning. My go-to is the Haraz Latte. Iced. While this could never be my every day coffee, it is something I really enjoy and treat myself to when I'm able to go to a Haraz. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then. If you want a break from your regular coffee, give Haraz a shot. Especially when the summer heat kicks in - the iced coffee + cardamom is pretty great. Also, they seem to have a high standard for hiring. The staff is always great. Please tip generously ;)

Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.

I came by as Lamppost's Ziah Bloom was hosting an event replicating his third-place-winning flight from the U.S. Barista Championship. This flight had three incredible drinks: the standard espresso shot, the milk and espresso drink (a cortado), and the show-stopping signature beverage that I could drink 30 of in one sitting. Lampost has many locations in this area and they all are consistently good. What is exceptionally nice about this location is it's overall ambience... Nice vibe quiet yet welcoming. The tables and working area areas are spread out nicely across this spacious location. The coffee was fantastic. The espresso was very flavorful and not at all burnt, like some of the other competitors in the area are known for in their coffee. This trip, I tried their chocolate chip cookie, and was a little disappointed. It was dense and heavy and the taste was not that pleasing to the pallet. Perhaps it was just an off day - I don't remember the cookies from Lampost being this thick before, but my memory may be failing me. Regardless. I will definitely be back for the coffee and try another bakery item to satisfy my sweet tooth.
