He said he would send more details in a full report, and we'd receive it 2 days later. 2 days later came and went. I had to call him 5x before he finally picked up 3 days later. Later that night he sent me a 7 sentence report with a doodle of the property, and said he'd send more once he figure out an issue with his software. I made the mistake of paying him before he sent over the full report, because it's been more than 2 weeks since he sent me his doodle and I never heard from him again - though I've sent him multiple emails, texts, and Facebook messages since. Since I didn't have enough details about the septic, I hired someone else to do another inspection. They charged $50 less, gave us many more important details about the system in person, and provided us with an 11 page in-depth report on the same day of inspection. They also texted me back right away whenever I had a question. It was like night and day dealing with these two different companies. It's possible Orange County Septic Services is the right company for certain jobs, but I can't recommend them for septic inspections.

I pretty well knew my leechfield was probably shot. The next morning I called three places to get some rough estimates and timelines as to when they could come out to do the work. Orange County Septic Services came in below the other estimates and was able to get out there the very next day. Sold! After they had dug the system up they showed me why I was having the problem, outflow pipe full of roots, and then explained how they were going to fix everything. Did all the work and tested before they filled it all back in. Ended up knocking out the whole job in a couple of hours. Great experience from start to finish.

This company did an OUTSTANDING job, assessing and repairing my drainage needs. I had basement…read moreflooding after rains, due to the water level buildup around my house. Bill Jacobs did not try to "upsell me" over the phone, telling me possible solutions that were less complicated than I anticipated. He assessed the issue, evaluated the drainage piping issues and suggested least expensive solutions first, with further review once accessing the drain pipes. He communicated extremely well around appointment times, during the project, even showing pictures to explain how the progress was going. He made improvements over what the builder failed to do, burying gutter downspouts and connecting all drainpipes around the house. His crew unfortunately cut my underground electric dog fence, which was my fault as I forgot to indicate the lines. They told me what they had done and fixed it themselves the next day. After the job was completed, they cleaned up the site perfectly and threw down hay until grass regrows. Bob then took me around the house explaining all that he did, and answered all of my questions. Bob Jacobs is a man of his word, is honest, communicative and shows pride in his work. He correctly assessed what needed to be done, as the area flooded weeks later and my basement is dry!!
