Flash forward 6 months and a very large rat made his way into our basement through our doggy door. We got him locked into an interior room and ended up calling Central TN back. Dean came by right away and was going to put down very large sticky traps. However, when he arrived he ended up going into the room and resolving our rat issue. He also walked around the exterior of the house and pointed out a few areas we should address with excursion mesh to keep out other rodents. Once again, Dean was amazing and resolved our issues. I would always have to call the office and their cell number more than once before I would get a response. Sometimes I would have to try again the next day. Finally once I had an appointment set they would call that morning to see if they could come early or not show up at all with no phone call. I needed a third treatment and because I didnt call within their alloted 14 days I was going to be charged another $50. Then my final treatment was to be done within 14 days of the third treatment and would be free, well they cancelled on me that Mon. and rescheduled for Thurs. Come Thurs I waited an hour after they were supposed to arrive to call the office. The man told me his employees were still sick and he forgot to call me. When I expressed the inconvenience it is to cage up my animals and leave my kitchen in a disarray, he laughed! I believe they blew me off because this final treatment was free. My overall experience has led me to the conclusion that they're unprofessional and inconsiderate. I would not recommend them at all

The professionalism has always been outstanding and it's rare for us to see bugs after treatments and when we do see them, it's generally ants. We've had a much wetter than usual spring and when we started seeing ants again, we called Valor. It wasn't our usual contract appointment, but nonetheless we explained our ant problem and they responded with a courtesy service the next day. Next day service is exceedingly rare. Their employee, Reuben arrived spot-on the time we were told to expect him. He said something that really struck me as premier customer service when he said, no matter that we sprayed in March, I am here to do whatever is needed to control your pest issues. His friendliness, professionalism and knowledge of the products he was using were impressive. He listened intently and asked questions while I walked him around the trouble areas and then he went to work. This young man is an outstanding ambassador for Valor Pest specifically and a credit to the pest control industry in general. I made a huge mistake in hiring Hill's Termite & Pest Control Company located at 96 Essex Rd…read more Cookeville, TN to spray for Bugs in my kitchen and pantry. I was informed that the Kitchen was where the bugs had their nests. I told them I also wanted the pantry sprayed. They said I would need to empty these rooms and leave for around 4 hours so the spray could dry. After removing everything from my kitchen and pantry cabinets and shelves that took several hours, I had four rooms completely covered with boxes and bags. Thank goodness these rooms were covered and the carpets could not be sprayed as I discovered later they had sprayed my bedroom that left dark marks and bleach looking spots all over the carpet. This company sprayed my bedroom when I had hired them to only spray my kitchen and pantry. My bedroom carpet was in good shape with no marks or spots until after they sprayed. They made the statement their spray product does not have bleach in it. I have no idea what is included in their spray but something in the spray solution caused the bleach looking spots and marks to my carpet as the pictures show. They are making excuses and indicated that they are not going to do anything about this damage they did. A company that does not stand behind their products and workmen ship is not a good company,
