Timeless Tattoo continues to set the standard for tattoo shops and artists for me. A little while back (I can't believe I didn't write this sooner) I went in to see Das Frank for another custom piece: A butterfly with a little bit of Celtic knot work in the wings. When I arrived, he was finishing the stencil for me, and let me tell you...this was so much more beautiful than I had envisioned! Frank took a little artistic liberty, and rather than doing a butterfly, he did a moth, which ended up being perfect, as I also asked for a hidden skull, and I just love it. Everyone gets butterflies...I have a death's head moth! Besides, they both symbolize metamorphosis, which is what I wanted. The knot work is astounding. Its so complex, and intricate! The line work took about an hour and a half, and I still have to make an appointment to get it colored and shaded, but as it is right now, I'm SO pleased with Frank's work. I went for a nostril piercing. The piecing person was sweet and very pleasant. When pierced it was very painful and I bled for at least an hour. I thought this was to be expected. BUT the jewelry used was a simple bone. It kept falling out which was so frustrating. I did some research and found out that is not jewelry to be used. After a week and a half of this frustra it came out and wdnt go back in. I ended up going to another studio today to be re-pierced. Totally different experience. Very little pain, no blood, and a sterile L shaped jewe was used. It won't fall out at all. Do not go here for piercing. read more

My husband and I were looking at getting tattoos while on vacation out here. I found Timeless Tattoo on Yelp and saw it was the highest rated studio in the area. We went in and met Amanda and I showed her a picture of what we were looking to get tattooed. We went back the next day and met with Amanda and Jake. They were super personable and amazing to talk to. Amanda drew everything up in front of us and asked if we wanted anything changed. She made sure to make us apart of the experience every step of the way. This is not mine and my husband's first tattoo, but Amanda and Jake made us feel right at home as if we were getting our first tattoo. Jake tattooed me and Amanda tattooed my husband. The four of us talked the entire time and it was the most pleasant experience. I originally came to this shop back in the winter of 2012 following another artist who had worked on me a few years before. When I spoke with him he had a ridiculous waiting list and was completely booked up but did recommend the work of this guy named Das Frank, I'm so glad I met this guy!! I told him what I wanted which he was completely down with, he had something he's drawn up but never had anyone to Tattoo this on, he showed it to me and it was exactly what I wanted. We had 4-5 sessions and I was in love! I recently went back to Das Frank for another piece, but smaller, and he was still the great artist he was before. Das Frank is a great and reasonably priced guy who can really work with whatever ideas you give him, I currently have another piece in mind I'd love to have him do. I recommend him to everyone I feel legitimately wants a true quality tattoo and is willing to spend money, not waste time. Timeless Tattoo is a hit! read more
