From the beginning the tattoo itched scabbed swelled and bled. It hurt and it looked bad. I went into the shop multiple times and no one could give me a clear answer. Messages on social media were ignored. Someone from the shop eventually suggested it might be an allergic reaction to metal in the red ink and gave me a home treatment plan with vitamin E, epson salt soaks and cocoa butter. I followed it for twenty weeks and my foot got worse. I was waking up with blood on my sheets from scratching in my sleep and people asked about it because it looked infected not because the tattoo looked good. I later moved to the West Coast and saw other tattoo artists who had zero connection to this shop. Multiple artists told me the work was done incorrectly and that poor technique and ink saturation were likely to blame. A dermatologist also confirmed it did not look like an allergy. The shop tried to say that other artists were probably trying to make them look bad but no one here even knows who they are and they had no reason to defend or criticize anyone in Pennsylvania. Sometimes mistakes happen. Most people understand that. What made this worse was that the shop refused to own anything. Instead they got frustrated that I was pointing out that something was wrong and treated it like an attack instead of a request for help. That reaction made the whole situation worse than it needed to be. It has now been thirteen years and my foot still itches daily, and splits open and bleeds randomly. I deal with it daily because the skin reacts constantly and that physical reminder is hard to ignore. For that reason I think about this shop every single day and not in a good way. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this place and I suggest staying far away.

I got one tattoo and three piercings done here. Dan did my tattoo. i believe he is no longer…read moreworking here, but he told me he designed my tattoo himself and i found it on pinterest months later by some random user.. i got three piercings done by their piercer, my septum, my eyebrow, and my belly button. my eyebrow rejected by my own accord. My septum i had no problems with but i took my jewelry out and it closed so i had to get it redone. when i went back the second time she asked me who did my first one (it was her) and she gave me completely new piercing holes. so now i have two sets. for my belly button, i dunno if it's my anatomy or what but she was pushing that needle through for at least 10 seconds before she fully pierced it. it ended up rejecting horribly after following her care instructions as well. if it was because of my anatomy, that should've been the call she made before she started piercing it. Ive talked to numerous people who have gotten stuff done by her who have had similar issues as well. I can't say anything about their other tattoo artists because i've never gotten anything done by them, but their work seems nice.

I went and someone else did it. They did the piercing completely incorrectly and it was a wholly unsanitary environment. After sticking the needle through my cartilage, they then took the needle out before attempting to put the jewelry in. After mangling my ear, they were unable to put the jewelry in. I had never experienced such pain (and I have body piercings that are supposed to be "the most painful piercings"). It is a day later and my ear is truly purple. I will have to go to the doctor on Monday, that is how bad it is. I tried to save some money since it is so cheap here but I definitely wish I would have paid the extra money for the piercing somewhere else instead of the doctor and the antibiotics I will have to take.

The man was shaking and sweating...it took him four times just to mark her ears with the marker and that alone should have tipped me off to go running from this place. He Went to pierce her ear and missed and pierced her ear vertically. I asked what happened and he claims she jumped at the last minute. She was in my lap and her head was against mine. She did NOT jump. It was most likely his shaking hands that caused it. The he told me it was against Policy for him to touch it and remove it so I had to take the effed up earring out of her ear!!!!! He could barely open up the sterile Wipe to help me clean her ear that was starting to bleed all over the place. Now my daughter doesn't want her ears pierced anymore and I feel like a rite of passage was taken from myself and my daughter. From now on it will be tattoo and piercing parlors for us should my daughter ever change her mind and want her ears pierced again. We got a refund. I think he should have let me keep the earrings since it was covered in her blood but nope. I'm so upset by the experience.
