The rooms are clean, it's quiet, the staff are super nice. It can be a little difficult to get a hold of the front desk, but this place caters to turnaround workers. There were spiders in the corners of the doorways, spiders on the bathroom floor & there were mosquitoes all over. The carpets were stained, cheap bed, the walls were stained, broken furniture, cable wires running across the wall, there was a bed leaning up on the wall in the area with a couch. After killing off countless mosquitoes we were ready to go. Oh AND there were people outside chatting it up right outside our window past midnight. No idea what they were talking about because I only know English. This place is terrible! When we informed the guy at the desk, he claimed they have a "BUG GUY" come every 2 weeks. Then told us they'd never had this compliant before... (Then why would you have a bug guy every 2 weeks!?!) WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

All within the most beautiful and relaxing atmosphere imaginable. I have had many B&B stays, but I must say that Sundara West is absolutely exceptional! Every attention to detail is taken, it is eco-friendly, and the hosts are so kind and helpful. Jackie went above and beyond to make our stay so relaxing, fun and comfortable. We stayed in "The Cottage" and enjoyed the privacy of a porch overlooking a large open field and a view of Mount Baker. Add to that a private hot tub and fire pit and what more could you expect? I guess it would be the well stocked kitchen, spacious grounds and wonderful aroma emanating from the numerous rose bushes that line the lawn area - oh, and the indoor pool, an adjacent large hot tub, and fire pit at which you can mingle with newly acquired friends. Leaving the best for last: The host and hostess are amazing! They accommodated our every need, made us feel at home, and even provided us with S'mores for the fire pit one evening. Yumm! Thanks so much, Marshall and Jackie. We will be back. ;)

It's definitely cute, and the sort of interesting little sideshow I love to stumble upon while wandering through an unfamiliar town. My only complaint is that it isn't as lively, or fully utilized, as it deserves to be. It's a quaint facsimile of a Dutch village, but lacking in reasons to draw people in, other than the quirky nature of its existence. I love it, but I want it to be more than the sum of its sparsely populated parts.
