    The sheep liked the bread.

Our family visited Bode Farms in early August, 2025. The experience starts with reaching out to the owner and setting up a date. The perfectly detailed text that I got let us know exactly what to be prepared for. It rained on the day that we were supposed to visit and we were able to schedule it for the following day, which was nice. The kids had a blast feeding the animals, holding bunnies, running around with sheep, sitting on the big cow, and just being on the farm. Many of the animals were available for adoption. If it was up to my kids, we would have adopted as many animals as our vehicle would hold. We were there for about 90 mins.

We hand fed a variety of animals, pet the softest bunnies and listened to all the animal noises at the farm. All of the animals were so gentle and relaxed walking around together and snacking. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Ms. Rachel is so loving and friendly. Farm is not too big and not too small and the tour was very casual which we loved it so much. Our toddler also enjoyed her time there, got to feed and pet some of the animals. The playground is also very inviting and fun!

This gem of a family-run farm exceeded every expectation and left us not wanting to leave. One of the unexpected highlights was Farmer Andrew's Tulip Talk -- I honestly don't know why this isn't front and center in every piece of marketing, because it was absolutely wonderful. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and his talk gave our visit so much more depth and meaning. Don't skip it! The u-pick experience was pure joy. We each got to hand-select 10 stems straight from the fields, wandering through row after row of stunning colors and varieties. The farm is beautifully laid out with so many gorgeous spots to sit, slow down, and just soak in the views of the tulips against the backdrop of the Cascades. We never felt rushed -- it truly felt like they wanted you to linger and enjoy every moment. The mini Highland cows are absolutely adorable and a total delight, especially for kids. The food vendors on site were a lovely bonus -- great options for both a meal and a snack, so you can easily make a full half-day of it. What also stood out was how relaxed the atmosphere felt. It wasn't overly crowded, and the whole vibe was welcoming and unhurried. You can tell this family pours real heart into everything they do. Tulip Valley Farms is the kind of place that reminds you to slow down and appreciate something beautiful. We'll be back every spring!

I spent so much time wondering the field I missed the coffee truck. Joe shared his personal coffee supply with me and would not accept money. Seriously made an already amazing day even more incredible. They also have a front field for photo ops, and many u-pick fields Andrew and Holly do an incredible job caring for the farm and Holly makes beautiful jewelry available for purchase. This year they added a store with shirts, stickers and stuffed baby cows! Truly my favorite farm and I highly recommend you visit now!!!!

The lights and farm itself seem very small, but they packed in a lot of photo ops and play stations. They had a soccer goal, basketball hoop, and "snow". The little shop was also open during the event, and had a good and surprisingly affordable selection of lavender products. I tried the huckleberry lavender lemonade and honey lavender taffy, both were excellent. The even itself was also free, so even though it was small, it was worth it, and a great way to get into the holiday spirit! I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Customer Service: Excellent, they were friendly when I bought my son a ginger bread cookie. Dog friendly: Yes, bring poop bags and a leash though. My wife found this place and brought me and our 3 year old son to it tonight. It was wonderful. Kind of dreamy if you will. Check out my videos, I captured the moment pretty well while also being playful/funny in a couple. There is a cool fire pit you can sit around and drink the cocoa and coffee. The farm had a trail that loops around the property. Beginning of the trail has a christmas light decorated soccer goal with lights. Then a big chair for pictures, followed by a bubble machine. The whole farm is light up like a christmas light village. Very pretty. Come around to the other side of the property and find a cool fake snow machine and a basketball hoop. Then a chicken coup on display for the littles. They also have a tractor the kids can sit on and take pictures with that lights up. And a dog that you can play fetch with. But the dog is in a yard you walk up to. Set up on purpose like that. The dog knows his/her role and is a great employee, loving everyone that comes by and throws the ball. Very neat place! Hope you like my pictures and videos, I tried my best to capture the whole place. Felt majestic.

As frequent travelers from Seattle area to Canada for our daughters hockey games, we look forward to staying at Cedars RV Resort and will continue the tradition we've started. Just an extremely well-run operation and we're so happy we discovered this place with such wonderful people. One time the door on our travel trailer somehow wasn't properly secured when we left it... so during a breezy rainstorm while we were not there, the door physically opened. Scott, Cedars maintenance manager, was first to notice the problem and shut the door, but it could not be locked without the key, so Yvette, operations manager, was so kind to call me to make me aware of the situation, out of concern that the door might open on its own again and our camper might be subjected to water damage. Yvette went out of her way to let me know what happened in case I wanted to lock the door, and I thought this really speaks to the high level of customer care at Cedars. With all of her other responsibilities as manager of operations at Cedars, this kind of concern by Yvette and her staff for those at the property was really wonderful, and points to why Cedars is such a beautiful, well-maintained and popular vacation spot. Yvette, you and your staff rock!
