All these negative reviews clearly are doing something shady or thinking with their pants and regretting it because after every dance she asked me if I wanted another. I still continue on with my night, tipping, buying drinks, and get a $600 VIP room where I'm demanded to PRE-tip the bouncers. The bouncer that escorts me to the room sits in the room with me and the entertainer and says "I have to take care of the GUYS" This all combined turns this place into greedy garbage to me. Not recommended Here's what you should know. Middle of nowhere. If you live anywhere close to Blackjacks you probably already know all about it. It's at the intersection of "lost" & "where am I". After we already paid the entry fee, only then they decided to tell us there is a $15 parking fee. We just jumped out of an Uber so I thought we could skip this fee. NO. This is one of those reviews I'm not quite sure why I had not typed up yet. I've had a history with Blackjack's and it isn't a forgettable place. This gentleman's club is PIMP. I always remember it for the homely atmosphere, it's not the factory feel of Heavenly Bodies or the nightclub feel of Club O. It's different, it's a small swank lounge located in the boonies of Elgin. Fond memories of a purple velvet room, warm, attractive waitresses taking your drink order and seated just a few feet away from a pole which gets used quite often. Strippers pole that is. Every time I drive out there, late in the night, on this less driven piece of road there waits a silent fog. Adds some mystery to the club and good for memories. Dances are $30 a song, always been and still is that way. On some weeknights and now weekends (during our current economy) they run 2 for 1 deals and with that you get a Blackjack's souvenir. WoOh. Aluminum water flask, plastic mug or skullie, all with their logo printed. I'd say about 90% of the women are aesthetically attractive. It's the deep ass burbs, please note that service has always been color specific. Ladies that are patrons will always get great service, just like the guys that are strip club ballers. Dancers aren't great about approaching newbies and don't be nodding your head at me saying it's all about the way you dress. No its fucking not. I'm always dressed better than Jim Bob and the Esse from around the block. To get noticed, walk up to the stage and make it rain. Drinks are expensive and this last visit our waitress was daft. Dancers wear nipple covers and almost constantly put on a decent pole show. If it's cold outside, dress warm because the keep the inside nipply nowadays. So to check and make sure I message the Blackjacks Facebook page and ask if she was working and they were like, "yes". So I take an Uber there and it is out in the boonies. Like if I didn't know any better, I would think I was going to get murdered or something. So I make it to the club and the outside guy is like "$10 cover" Cool, I go in and that guy says, "$15 and 3 for parking" and I explain how the outside guy said 10 and the inside guy gets frustrated and hands me 7 bucks and I say, "I didn't park either" and he begrudgingly hands me 3 dollars then disappears. I walk inside of the dance portion of the club and the inside guy is now the bartender and asks, "What do you want to drink?" like they don't serve alcohol so it was weird but understandable. There was a 4 to 1 ratio because the place was pretty empty of patrons. So I get a Red Bull and sit down as a girl dances to Metallica and one of the ladies comes up to me and says, "Are you waiting for somebody?" and I respond, "I came here to see my friend 'name'" and she goes, "Well she's not here but I am" and I politely decline and she leaves and I've been to enough clubs to kind of know the game so now they're all trying to figure me out. Some time passes by and someone comes from behind doing an accent similar to my friend's and goes, "I heard you were looking for me" and I swear to f**k it's the lady from before with her hair in her face trying to pretend to be my friend. And at first I'm thinking maybe this is her because no one would be this bold and then I realize she's got on the same outfit and it's literally the girl with her hair blocking her face and trying to pretend to be my friend. I was like no, I'm good and I had to go to the bathroom because I was laughing so hard. Everything else is ok at best but if you need a hearty laugh, def go. This place used to be OK about 10 years ago. Ever since they lost their liquor license it's been hideous (so its byob). They actual charge you for parking (non valet) then charge you again for the cover. Seating is extremely limited. Girls are hideous and make no attempt whatsoever to approach you (even if I did wanna dance). They would rather spend money at the bar then make any. Very limited rotation during the day. Drinks are a complete RIP at $5 a domestic bottle of beer n this is during the day as well when no ones there.
