Well it turns out I paid around 80 bucks for my hair to basically look the same, however you could see a more natural brown color (a pose to my really dark brown) in the sun. I was indeed disappointed, since I was so excited for my new look. I never when back for that second session. Now I gave 2 stars because my hair sucked, and I paid way too much for it to look exactly the same; however the customer service was great and I heard other good things about this place. A different lady there was said to be great with dying hair colors like blue and pink. I had stopped coloring my hair years ago because the color always came out the same. Ronald McDonald Red. Red is my favorite color but I don't like it as my hair color. The first time I had her color my hair I told her that I do not like RED on my hair and she made sure my color does not have even a hint of red in it. She won my confidence and my business. My husband also goes in for haircuts at Salina's. Always comes out with a great cut. He had tried other salons, without success for a good cut. There are 2 others that work with Salina and they have all cut my husband's hair at some time. All have done an excellent job. Prices are affordable and less than the prices I was paying in Albuquerque. Another plus! Call for an appointment. I try to call and make an appointment in advance but dh always waits until the last minute. Salina's Hot Spot has always made the effort to get him in the day he calls. Karen steals, sends workers in with her on their cell phone listening and she should really go back to England but her oen daughters dont even want her around. The owner rips off old people's social security checks to keep the place running. 10 years of business and these people turned it into a very messy game of being evil.
