If you've been thinking about giving models a go, or are just looking for a place that has shelves lined with them, this is where you want to go. If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store has a broad selection of replacement and hop-up parts for a number of top manufacturers. If there is something that he doesn't have in stock, he can definitely order it for you. I have no idea where the poor ratings come from. My experience has been the complete opposite of the people disparaging the staff. I would also poi9nt out that Tamiya is Japanese, not Chinese, and the other brands (Traxxas, Redcat Racing, Arrma) carried are headquartered in the U.S., to my knowledge.

His shop is filled with lots of spare parts for the popular r/c brands (traxxas, hpi) along with a few dozen of rtr's and kits. He may not have the vast selection some of the other hobby shops in Mississauga have, as his shop isn't the largest, but he will order anything in for you and actually call you to let you know when it has arrived. His prices are in line with everyone else too. If you're in the area and run r/c cars or trucks, Galaxy should be your LHS.
