Nice coffee shop here in Langley. Located in a place with a…read morelot of parking. Amazing customer service by the register and barista. Ambiance is cozy and relaxed. The place has many coffee options, Matcha, Smootheis, Pastries, a few Vegan options. There was soup, paninis and a couple other eating options. We ordered a Latte, Lavender Latte, Pina Colada Smoothie, Croissant and a Chicken Panini. Everything was made delicately. Each drink tasted amazing and the panini was super fresh. Definitley will come back.

1 Star -- Discriminatory and Hostile Toward Disabled Patrons…read more My experience at Gratia Café was deeply upsetting and reflects a profound lack of understanding of -- or respect for -- disability rights. I am a disabled individual who relies on a legitimate, clearly identifiable service dog. Rather than being treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, I was subjected to hostile behavior, scrutiny, and exclusionary conduct that made it unmistakably clear I was not welcome. Staff acted as though they were entitled to question or challenge the presence of a service dog, despite the fact that this is explicitly prohibited under British Columbia human rights law. Let me be very clear: Businesses do not get to interrogate disabled patrons, demand explanations of medical need, or treat service dogs as optional accommodations. A service dog is not a pet, and access is not conditional on staff approval, comfort, or personal beliefs. What made this experience particularly distressing was the demeaning tone and dismissive attitude shown throughout the interaction. Instead of de-escalation or accommodation, the situation was handled in a way that felt humiliating, stigmatizing, and discriminatory. Disabled people should never be made to feel like a problem simply for existing in public spaces with the supports they require. Accessibility is not a "preference" or a branding choice -- it is a legal and ethical obligation. Until Gratia Café undertakes serious staff training on disability rights, service animals, and inclusive customer service, I cannot recommend this establishment to disabled patrons or allies. This experience was not just disappointing -- it was unacceptable.

Absolutely outstanding deli sandwiches, perfect for a quick lunch stop while in Friday Harbor. I'm…read morenot usually a deli person, but I was blown away by this sandwich. Delicious, perfect ratios of ingredients, and very fresh quality. I got a "build your own" sandwich but they have a wide variety of pre selected sandwiches if you'd rather that they choose. I was here during a Saturday lunch rush so it was packed inside, but the employees moved FAST. Service was very quick and the employees were all super friendly. There are no tables inside, so I took my sandwich to a nearby bench. There are tons of places to sit and enjoy the views in Friday Harbor. I will absolutely come back here next time I come to FH.

Rely on tourist business. Not worried about returning clients…read more I ordered a Turkey Club on wheat and although the workers were hurrying, it was not as busy as it usually is on a weekend lunch hour. Turkey was great. One thin and narrow (1/2") slice of pre-cooked bacon was severely underwhelming). A thin layer of avocado spread(?) rather than avocado. Swiss fine. Mayo fine. Red onion fine. Two slices of bread that were not toasted...so essentially a turkey sandwich. I returned to ask about the correctness of the order and the woman behind the counter got chippy immediately stating that this is the turkey club and wrapped it up and handed it back without even long at it. I asked about the three slices of toasted bread listed on the menu. She said that the board is wrong and we don't do three pieces any more. I asked about the single piece of bacon and she wanted to hand me some more bacon. A $16 sandwich that wasn't as adversities and an unwillingness to make it right means we won't be returning. Below mid.
